I'm not sure I'm still wondering what this is all about? I guess thats the internet update exe........ I Don't know what happend but I got this, Then I got a blue screen, with nothing on it, all blue, I rebooted and my sound properties said SBlive series and all the controls were good but the sound was horrible, then I tried to update with the device manager, and led it to the new beta driver I extracted to another folder and rebooted and agian, the sound was worse than ever. I did a system restore to 4pm today and I'm back to ok but I guess I need a newer soundcard, hopefully soon there will be one with a Vista compatable sticker on it with the CD. That diver is the one that seems to work for my card, from this package LiveDrvUni-Pack(ENG)

That may be your APIC mode. If it is diabled it does that, otherwise does F8 work?

I formatted RC1 and did a clean install of RC2. I now can choose my desktop area: 1152x864 Avg free is longer a option, it wont install. My sound options work, a little better, but not much My Logitech quick cam wont work now and MS isnt offering a update for some reason I noticed 5 or 6 new services that I have no clue about, let alone half the others which I have no clue. I like Vista, and I love the fact I got it free, thanks to the heads up on this forum. I dont trust Vista, or XP, I still prefer 98SE Vista makes my computer look like a fool......2 Gigs of ram is the mininum I'd say. Been killing left and right on halo, no crash, havent tested all but GTA VC and SA look killer. Ram still OK at 2-3-3-6 http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=128288 ***Dont forget to update your DX10 via DX end user update, you'll need those old files for your games

I tried hansol's crt drivers no luck. There is more than a few color options in here for the monitor. I have no clue what these profiles are. What I want is the 1152x back cause 1024 is the pits, nothing lines up and I'm not gonna monkey with my monitors manual settings everytime I switch OS's.

Well I played it, I thought my computer froze when it said please wait........ The tracks are pretty out-there, is there a normal track? I'd love some neck to neck racing on a "real" track. Not a bad game though, automatically found my gamepad, good speed and quality. Maybe I'll try sunsise, or extreme.

You can switch to classic and get rid of all of it...........what's the problem?

I can't get vista to 1152 X 864 I can force it but it goes back after any changes like games or rebooting. I can't understand all the color options, can anyone help,?
