  1. Nobody uses Evolution?
  2. I didn't get the gas either. If you have the option, GET THE GAS. It is hard for your brain to comprehend why there is so much crunching noise inside your skull but no pain associated with it. My legs were twitching uncontrollably since my brain *knew that it should be hurting*. Really I would rather not remember it at all. The crunching noises in my skull, the doc climbing around on my chest to get a better angle at the tooth, the other dental people hanging out in the doorway watching the procedure...it was just bad
  3. SSL issues like this are a common headache when using virtual hosts. While primarily a server-side issue, a client can attempt to work around this. Next time the warning pops up, 'view' the certificiate and 'install' it. Some wizardry with your hosts file might also be necessary but let's see if this helps first. One thing to note is that while we might be able to get this working for you, it won't help your other email users since the server-side problem still remains. All your users will have to do the same hackery to get it working without warnings.

    Codec slipstreaming

I'm not really "out of the office," per se. It is just that I prefer to work on stuff like that when I know that I have a contiguous block of time in which I can sit down and work through whatever issues are sure to arise. My peculiar train of thought works more efficiently that way

    Codec slipstreaming

Hi Kiki Thanks for the thorough reporting. Sorry for the delay; I was hoping that TC would find a good lead. I am working a lot for the next week or so and I can't do codec testing while I am at work...but will be able investigate your results further after that.
  6. Not sure if you were asking in general or in his particular situation, but Disk Defragmenter (the one that comes with Windows) will produce a fragmentation report if you run an analysis and then view the report.
  7. I used a third-party app in place of the component that I was trying to install. Your solution will depend on what your actual goal is. If your goal is to get the ability install/uninstall all of the components, then a reinstall would do the trick.
  8. I pursued a similar solution in the HFSLIP forums quite some time ago. Never had much luck.
  9. Welcome to the forum. MS Word is famous for quirks like that. I recommend trying another editor like OpenOffice. [ moved ]

That pack is neat but we focus on slipstreaming here. Our pack is based on these:
  12. I like the idea and hope that somebody is less lazy than I am so that it gets implemented
  13. Very nice design. The aesthetics and functionality are both great. I am late, but here it is: happy birthday
  14. Please use this topic instead. - This topic should probably be closed -
  15. This could be a Group Policy problem. Can you narrow the problem down to a certain user or group of users? Please refer to this page and let us know if you see any relevant events reflected in your Event Viewer. Please note that you may see events other than the ones on that page that are related to the certificate problem.
  16. That PC is otherwise OK? And other users, when logged into that PC, have no issues? Sounds like you narrowed it down to his profile on a certain PC. Save his data and delete his profile folder on that PC.
  17. Hopefully tommyp will comment on that. I'm not sure if it is OK to use at a non-profit.The GPL doesn't restrict personal vs. commercial usage.
  18. Definitely worth a shot. Don't forget to load the default values after you flash the device.
  19. Nice one, 03GrandAmGT Communicating effectively is sometimes more difficult than actually solving a problem.
  20. If the GIF is getting frozen by a proxy then it is actually altered (frozen) before it hits the browser from a remote location.
  21. Another vote for Thibor. It rocks! linksysinfo has a great firmware comparison. I would provide a direct link but am having trouble reaching the site from my current location.
  22. Unfortunately HFSLIP is for personal use only.
  23. You may also consider a fresh install of your OS. It sounds like you've put it through quite a bit of punishment and Windows tends to degrade under such circumstances.
  24. Can you get access from with computers on your local network? If so, we will need more information about your network configuration. We have asked for that info twice now and you haven't told us anything other than you use a cable modem. How do you connect to the modem? Do you have any routers/switches/hubs/APs? How do you connect to those devices? Are you running any firewall or proxy software?
  25. RE: your other topic: What proxy did you install? Did you designate a port for it to listen on? You will likely use the settings of IP 127.0.0.1 and port 80 or 8080.
