  1. I never looked into paint.net before since I only have an older version of .net loaded for one app I use. You guys are so in love with it that I took a peek. Looks neat, but requires .net 2.0. What else would you recommend for cropping/resizing/minor editing but doesn't require .net? /sorry for the hijack
  2. The cables should be fine as 1000BASE-T is designed to work with Cat5 (5e and 6 are even better, granted). Are the cables homemade? Sometimes faulty RJ-45 jack installs can result in poor performance.jcarle mentioned drivers; which do you use? Try http://www.marvell.com/drivers/search.do
  3. Sweet! I'd be interested in this, too. But I would be just as happy with an active wallpaper that reflected the sun's illumination of the globe in real time (like in the pic). Weather is only useful to me for local purposes.
  4. You can run Outlook w/o OE but some things won't work. I did it for a while, but ran into too many limitations. Having OE installed is the most foolproof way to go. I did this using HFSLIP and HFCLEANUP to remove OE and other components.
  5. I don't think he meant "pick two." He said "take two" as in "let's try this again." Photoshop.
  6. This will solve your problem, submix8c.
  7. I don't have this problem. Emails to me are formatted properly.
  8. The one that started this topic, or the current one? (It changed again.)
  9. I prefer the same window and my browser settings ensure that I get what I want. [ Added poll to first post, for S&Gs. ]
  10. Maybe a deleted member, but we don't do that often. A banned member should show up normally. They are just a member of a different user group. We changed a few things with the forum software recently and this could be just a temporary glitch. My profile no longer shows Mr. Blank.
  11. Barely
  12. What kind of cables are you using?
  13. When I saw the topic title my first thought was "oh no, isn't it really dusty there?"
  14. I think it is desribing the same problem. There are two responses:
  15. /hopes are high for #5
  16. Fanboy alert!
  17. Sorry, didn't notice the extension. What do you think of this: http://www.developerfood.com/dotm-file-in-...22/article.aspx
  18. Maybe you could find that on a theming site?
  19. I don't think macros work like that. They are entity-specific.
  20. You could use a digital signature or a PGP key.
  21. You can't open the file twice like that. Anything after the first instance has to be Read-Only.
  22. Doing that can cause problems in my experience. You should try using Virtual PC.
  23. That should work. And would probably be the easiest since it sounds like you are familiar with Flash.
  24. It crashes every times it closes? Try repairing the installation or reinstalling.
  25. Could be a bug... Try creating a new spreadsheet and copy/paste your work into it. Sometimes that irons out some wrinkles.
