  1. http://www.businesscardland.com/home/ Found via Lifehacker I/we have no affiliation with the site, just thought it was neat.
  2. Their news page is good for keeping up on this issue. The EFF also keeps tabs on things. Activism seems alive on this issue. We got the bill introduced now we need to ensure enough votes.
  3. AnalogX has a simple one. It comes with instructions.
  4. That is why they call it "art"
  5. Is your format set to "text only"?
  6. I linked to the wrong one, didn't I? Not sure if that is due to my incompetence or DFI's crappy site
  7. I know it isn't April 1st, but office pranks are fun! Here are some pranks and links to more... http://ask.metafilter.com/46747/Tell-me-a-...-computer-prank http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_prank http://www.lifehacker.com/software/friday-...anks-261801.php http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pete/upside-down-ternet.html http://officepoltergeist.com/ http://www.jasonbartholme.com/2007/05/03/1...your-coworkers/ http://www.computerpranks.com/stories/ http://www.wired.com/print/culture/lifesty.../aprilfools0329 Remember, kids: Play Nice. 8. Found some more interesting ideas and links over here.
  9. Like many geeks, I sit at a desk most of the day. Many geeks usually have something to drink such as beer, soda, coffee, beer or maybe even water. I recently found this page where people were discussing how healthy it is to drink 12 cans of diet soda per day. Most of the page seemed to revolve around caffeine, and that isn't really my question is about. I consider caffeine a drug, so I use it appropriately...when I actually need a boost for marathon MSFN posting sessions I drink roughly 2 liters of diet caffeine-free soda per day in different flavors. Why? I like to stay hydrated and I've found that I drink much more liquid if it is tasty instead of plain water. I drank quarts of water per day in the past and haven't noticed any difference in my health since I began drinking so much soda. I don't pretend that this soda is healthy in any way. I just like that it doesn't contain any calories or caffeine. So I drink lots of it. It does contain some questionable ingredients such as aspartame, sodium benzoate, phosphoric acid and citric acid. Could I be endangering my health?
  10. Since this topic has gone more in the direction of exercise than ergonomics...these pedals look neat.
  11. Sounds like your associations might be mixed up. In your main browser, make sure that it is set to your default browser. If it already is, try changing the assocation (just fire up a new install of Firefox or Opera, it'll ask) and then changing it back to what you want. Might work.
  12. I made my recommendation based on advice I recieved from Tomcat76 when i was doing this research. He had a good reason for recommending the SLI board to me over the non-SLI even though SLI doesn't interest me. I don't recall what that reason was. /pages TC76
  13. I've never seen this problem before. Try the migration using personal folders vs. on-server or vice verse. [ moved ]
  14. Have you rebuilt your workstation or moved to a new one? This could be a perceived difference in quality due to changing codecs, video drivers, output/overlay settings, etc.
  15. We discussed this a bit in another thread, but it is worth noting here that this issue seems to arise when when you visit a "lo-fi" version of our pages. This usually happens when you visit us via a search engine link.
  16. My choice: LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR
  17. You need support from the developer for this problem.
  18. Depends on how much you want to download. Try the lower setting first. If it doesn't save everything you want, then try the higher setting.
  19. I wonder if this will ever/eventually supplant the original's status in South Korea.
  20. I'd like that as well, but no, we can't do that. Sorry.
  21. We have lots of Mac fans here. We aren't elitists
  22. You can remove it since xper has addressed the issue.
  23. Sorry about that...I got to this topic via "View New Posts" and hadn't realized that I was in the nLite forum. I have no experience with nLite. The HFSLIP comment was referring to a similar application that is hosted here at MSFN. No. HFSLIP/HFCLEANUP would do what you want. Sorry, but I don't know how to help you do it with nLite. But I'm sure it can do it, too.
  24. In Device Manager, on the Advanced tab for your adapter, there should be a setting you can set. Mine is "Speed/duplex settings" but YMMV.
