I'm having trouble understanding the context of your question. First off, I'm not the developer of Aero Glass for Windows 8. A member named BigMuscle is. But I *do* develop software - just not Aero Glass for Windows 8. If you are asking whether Aero Glass for Windows will be developed for Windows 8.1, then I wonder how it is you don't already know the answer, given the discussions just above and in the threads on the first page this forum. Your question in that context is essentially nonsensical, so I look for another meaning... If you are asking whether I personally plan to develop products that are compatible with Windows 8.1, I am already doing that (desktop products, NOT Metro/Modern). But I am doing so using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 as the bootup OS on my workstation. Windows 8 or 8.1 do not provide me any advantages over Windows 7 so far that make it attractive to me, and in fact have removed features that I actually use. Whether I stick with Windows 7 may change in the future, as it will no doubt become more and more advantageous to keep current. At the moment I test with Windows 8+ in virtual machines using VMware workstation 10. -Noel Hey you know people don't really care right? It doesn't matter is win8.1 is not officially out yet or even if the end app is going to be free or cheap they want it NOW!!!

Configuring XP for nLite to work through a virtual environment
Kelsenellenelvian replied to Rhetro's topic in nLite
The nLite license says clearly you cannot use it in any business setting. Mainly because the use of nlite destroys your company agreement with ms and nuhi\nlite will not be responsible for that. Using a modified version of nlite in a business is against your windows agreement and opens your company for lawsuits from ms. -

Make Vista stop updating, reading, preventing access to records?
Kelsenellenelvian replied to ROTS's topic in Windows Vista
Wow it's posts like this that made me wonder where the quality control on this board went. I stated a opinion and now i'm being a troll? (I said arguably and wasn't being rude) Some of the things supporters get away with saying and I've been warned for some pretty lame reasons... @ jaclaz = @ Vista post sp1 era. I never tried Vista after the first couple of months. When Vista was released it was the worst OS I had ever tried to work with. (This is coming from a WinME lover) -
You most likely ended up with a USB drive that had a faked size marked in the partition table. Did you buy a super cheap 32 or large-ish sized drive? What happens is some people in asian countries remark drives with fake sized partitions (Say a 2 gig drive that now says it can hold 32 gigs) then when you put more that 2 gigs it wraps over and destroys the partition table info.

Make Vista stop updating, reading, preventing access to records?
Kelsenellenelvian replied to ROTS's topic in Windows Vista
Good luck, Vista was quite arguably the WORST OS MS came out with next to 8. Windows 7 is MUCH easier to deal with and fix. You might want to look at switching to 7. Here is a .reg file for taking ownership of those pesky folders. Once you take ownership deleting them is easier. Take_Ownership.reg -

Help importing reg file, please...
Kelsenellenelvian replied to alfreire's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I just figured out your reg issue. If it is not putting in HKCU keys it is because they don't exist until a user has been created and fully logged in. I have many entries that have multiple commands. Are you by chance manually editing config? (That doesn't work anymore BTW) cmds[pn]=['{DIRCOPY} "%wpipath%\\Install\\ccleaner" "%programfiles%\\CCleaner"','{64} {JSCRIPT}=CreateShortcut("CCleaner"%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCleaner64.exe"%comma%""%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCleaner64.exe"%comma%""%comma%"AllUsersPrograms"%comma%"CCleaner")','{86} {JSCRIPT}=CreateShortcut("CCleaner"%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCleaner.exe"%comma%""%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCleaner.exe"%comma%""%comma%"AllUsersPrograms"%comma%"CCleaner")','{JSCRIPT}=CreateShortcut("CCleaner Enhancer"%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCEnhancer.exe"%comma%""%comma%"C:\\Program Files\\CCleaner\\CCEnhancer.exe"%comma%""%comma%"AllUsersPrograms"%comma%"CCleaner")'];
