  1. You guys will be happy to know that IE7 defaults to MU
  2. Because you're on the wrong screen. Go forward one more.
  3. nLite already supports the next version
  4. There's a big thread over at my forums where people find them and share the link. The next version is (hopefully) getting the finishing touches right now. Gonna make integration easier than ever
  5. Many of the ones I include are ones that have to be specifically requested from Microsoft. The sticky thread only lists the ones that appear on Windows Update with a fresh install of XP SP2. Regarding ones in the sticky which aren't on my site, poke around a bit further . They're more than likely obsoleted by other ones which I do include. I list all obsoleted fixes on there.
  6. I'm not confused at all, just pointing out that it's off-topic for this forum. And the name calling is childish and completely unnecessary. Stop taking things so seriously.
  7. Very nice, thanks
  8. umm...no That's where Windows stores all the files protected by WFP. You're thinking of the Prefetch folder.
  9. If you don't have an absolute need for the MS JVM (like some people do when they have to use poorly-written software), you're better off without it
  10. The test for WFP would be to see if the files are in dllcache (they should be). My bet is they won't be
  11. WTF were you thinking posting this in the Windows XP forum instead of the Longhorn forum?
  12. Well, it's actually today (the 21st) Thanks again for the kind words everybody
  13. lol, is it past midnight there already? But thanks
  14. ryanvm.msfn.org How many threads do you need to bump about it?
  15. All I do to install Unlocker in my pack is add the 4 registry entries Nepali is deleting and copy the files to system32
  16. You guys have got my ear. What packages do you recommend which support the same featureset as well as Symantec? By that, I mean frequently-updated virus defs, spyware detection/removal, email scanning, etc.
  17. I think I'm misunderstanding what you mean. The makecab sequence in the batch file I posted does use LZX:21. Have fun drivercabfix doesn't, but there's a comment in the batch file where it does No clue.
  18. Read this thead. It should give you the info you need.
  19. lol, missed a line. Guess where I "borrowed" the code from Anyway, here you go. If you're curious what it does, it changes DriverCabName=driver.cab,sp2.cab to DriverCabName=driver.cabin txtsetup.sif. I don't think it actually makes a difference in functionality, but it's more complete drivercabfix.exe
  20. Call the reg tweak from cmdlines.txt or svcpack.inf to add them at the T12 mark.
  21. Speaking of which, I'm still waiting on a PM from you
  22. Leave the sp*.cat and win51*.SP* files alone. Those are needed for much more than the CAB files. Attached is a batch file code to merge driver.cab and sp2.cab. You should be easily able to change references to sp2.cab to sp1.cab if you need to. It should be noted for those who've integrated SP2 onto a CD which already had SP1 on it previously that sp1.cab is safe to delete. There are no references to sp1.cab in dosnet.inf, drvindex.inf, or txtsetup.sif. Also, there are no files in sp1.cab which aren't also in sp2.cab, so extracting it is a waste of time. mergecabs.cmd
  23. nuhi and I communicate with each other to make sure that nLite plays nicely with my stuff before I release it. It's not designed to installed on an existing system. Something like that is in the works, though (supposedly)http://www.willsdownloads.com/sp3.php
  24. Well, you can create the start menu shortcut on your own. Just make this the target: C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\muweb.dll,LaunchMUSite
