You want to sell, use Cosmetics - Quality - Cheap - Online - including delivery anywhere in GB and Europa. *I don't see delivery costs anywhere. Anyway, you would be better to average costs and include them for everyone. Means someone around the corner pays more, than someone across the river, but people don't have to work out additional costs. Grey color is maybe OK, seeing you have color products, etc. What is the most favorite color for women in surveys? What template are you using? 7dana.com-osCClean ? 5. **Other people appear to be having problems too........... http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic16154.html The answer to your problem is to completely remove Norton recycle bin, and never, ever install it again as long as you live. It's rubbish. You can right click on the recycle bin and choose Normal Recycle Bin. THis will bypass the crappy Norton bin and return everything to normal. ____________________________________________________________________ http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic11432.html Norton protected recycle bin problem -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I got a problem with the recycle bin i unistall norton works and the recycle bin is norton protected corrupted i research almost all over could someone help on how to replace the recycle bin thanks for the replies right click the recycle bin and disable the norton protected recycle bin features. if that does not work try running system file checker. open a command prompt and type sfc /scannow you will need your OS disk for it to repair any damaged files. ______________________________________________________________ http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic7492.html Recycle bin problem No items are displayed in the bin but indicate that I can delete 38 items if I wish. Any ideas? It sounds like your recycle bin has become corrupted. Check out this thread and see if that helps. There are some good suggestions in there. http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?...ted+recycle+bin _________________________________________________________________________ http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic15857.html Newcomer, in training Join Date: Sep 2004 Posts: 12 What is Norton protected recycle bin ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm tweaking a few computers for a charity, and they have Norton System Works. I haven't any experience with this program. I notice there is a 'Protected Recycle Bin'. When I click on 'Empty Norton Protected Recycle Bin' I get the following message: "There are 1,500 protected files total on Drive C. You have 1,400 protected files on Drive C." Underneath this are three boxes: Purge Yours/ Purge All/ Cancel What does all this mean? What am I purging, and is it safe to do so? What does this bin do in addition to the ordinary Windows Recycle Bin? Thanks to anyone who can shed any light. Swish In my experience I have always turn off the protected recycle bin. Just right click on the recycle bin and there should be an option of what type of bin you want. Just choose regular bin and it should be better. What is Norton protected recycle bin ? A lot of nonsense, that's what. Thanks for the responses. I'll right-click it and turn it off. I don't know how Norton expect anyone to understand that dialogue box. From what I've seen of Norton System Works, I'm not impressed. It bundles a bunch of things together which a few freeware standalone programs do better, and I've heard it's a real pain to remove. A bloated, pay-as-you-suffer, resource-hogging parasite. And those are just its good points. Ah, feel better after that! 9. There is a problem in MS Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 in that the 'History' is only saved for one day. It usually disappears altogether on ReBoot or at least in the 24 hour cycle. This is a possible problem not fixed when you reverted to IE6. Beta 2 should fix these problems. But you may need to install it, when available, then uninstall it, if you wish. MS Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 has proven safe from attack by spyware for me... And that file vulnerability mentioned lately as version 7 something.. IE 7 B1 has version 8 something.. *You could try the add/remove for IE 6, sometimes with Microsoft you will find that when you click to uninstall, it also has an 'option' to 'REPAIR' damaged installs.
  10. I am using MS Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1, but I also have Firefox 1.0.6. Agents won't work with Firefox because MS owns the ActiveX component. However, you do not need a web browser to view the agents, in fact I think they work best for email. But remember, if the other person does not have the agent installed on their PC, they won't see it. But will be prompted to download. Most versions of windows come with Merlin only.. If you want to download a zip file which contains a .eml (email letter) file Click Here. (As usual, after download, right click on the .zip and run your Anti-virus scanner on it.) .eml is the Outlook Express email format and clicking on this file from your hard disk will open Outlook Express and show the email. ***IN THIS CASE it is MS Agent Merlin singing Kokomo. What do you think?

  12. MS Agents Scare the hell out of your relatives and have Merlin pop-up in their email and read your news in a bubble. Remember Windows only comes with Merlin and NO speech. So, if you use any of the other characters a notice is likely to pop-up on their PC advising them to download missing components. Tip: Use MASS [Free] to easily generate your code. A seven year old could do it. *If you don't have MS Agent [Part] on your PC, ring Microsoft and ask why? If connected to the internet you may be able to contact them there. **Uses ActiveX. So if you have this disabled, sorry, will not work.. ___________________________________________ Copy the below___ html code to your HTML Editor or Notepad and save it as any name. ie. ms agent.html. 13. I use MS RegClean [which is getting along in years] plus CCleaner and Registry Mechanic. 1. MS RegClean seems to find mostly the same keys constantly - like it's cleaning up known MS bugs all the time. 2. CCleaner is not a fully fledged Reg cleaner, but does a great job, especially getting rid of all the temp junk. 3. Registry Mechanic will solve your problems and provide a backup/restore option. For instance, if you ever downloaded a file to your desktop, then deleted it or moved it, the Reg entry will always be in the Registry. I say use all three..

Sometimes only the side text resizes. It's most annoying, considering that they set text about 10 point. It's too small to read, and won't resize. 2-2. IE 7 b1 also has a list of things in the registry that are BAD-for-you and checks against them like Spybot - Search & Destroy. I guess these Reg. items will always need updating, and, if get too long could slow things down. But what can you do about the bad guys?
  19. I used PowerArchiver for years, but in the last year have switched to WinRAR. The only thing is, I don't seem to be able to get AVG7 free to work properly with scans. If any one knows how to do this, I would be grateful to know about it. *Can still 'Right Click' on an archive and choose scan externally ofcourse.
  20. Free Download Manager (FDM) is a full-featured download accelerator and manager. It is absolutely free! Using this software product you can easily download a list of files and whole web sites from any remote server via HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. Most people seem to link there other pageswith the full http://www.mypage.com/page2. <-- Note: dummy link example. I used to just use page2 (or whatever the name) on my old sites. That would work offline. You could use search and replace. ie. Replace all http://www.mypage.com/page2 with page 2.
  21. If you go to add or remove programs and uninstall Internet Explorer 7 beta 1 and restart, you should be back to having IE 6 installed. MS do not want you to completely take this important part of Windows out. IE7b1 backed up incl. Reg. entries when you installed.
