any one know of a way to disable a user in xp home, i could just change the password, but its not what i want to do. i want it so that it says something like, the account has been disabled, or account not found, or something like that thanks i need this before i kill my brother instead of this version of revenge (you dont know how crazy he'd go without computer)

problem is that i have 4.5 gigs of music, im not putting that on a whole bunch of cds. 4.5 GIGS. 1 gig of it is regularly played

did you try putting a shortcut to the connection in your start up menu? and set it as autoconnect, so it opens it and connects when window starts

gostats is a good hit counter, its just a little code that you put in, and they do the rest. browser info, referal, resolution, ect. if your using php, you can put a logger onto the page, if u need it, i can send it to you, it just doesn't count how many people, you'll have to add that in later....

internet explorer has gotten to old to work with hotmail on my 95 machines. i tried installing firefox, but it gives me a problem with the file OLEAUT32.DLL, and its not suposto work with 95 anyways, so i went to mozilla, which wont get past the splash screen, and i tried the stuff they tell me to on the unofficial faq. any one have ideas for a web browser that works with win 95? thanks

i recently cleaned out a win 98 machine, removing useless programs and spyware, but i accidentaly removed a file, from symantec, which did something to do in the booting. its nothing major, except you have to push any key to start after it tells you its missing. it sais its something in system.ini, vut i cant find the file name (symeunt.386). any ways to stop it from looking for that file durring the boot? thanks sven
