i dont think its possible to have a dircet connection to your laptop, unless you find a hi0fi hot spot or something, but these are normaly in business areas, airports, ect. if you want to have this at home, your choices should involve buying a wireless access point with a dsl modem(any service provider will work). Also, if you want, you can get satelite internet, i dont know how big the dish is, but you still need a 56k modem to upload, and the dish has to be outside. it all depends on your needs, whether its for home use or business, or travel

At my parents office, theres a window 2000 machine, which is used for everything business (acounting, ect) Problem its svchost process keeps shutting down, and the user(my mother) is hard headed and wont listen at all to what i ever say. now, does anyone know if theres a way to fix this problem and get her off my back? Please replys asap, or i wont hear the end of it. ps, this is serious, no jokes, just answers thanks

GH knows about this, once, on the macs at school, when we tried to click on an icon, they would jump to another spot on the screen, and make a sound, really quite wierd, until gh showed us the program that did it, and that led to other serious problems.....
