Thanks prathapm. I'll give it a try. And they're using a Speedstream 5400 (Efficient Networks) as their bridge/router now Marsden. It's always connected to the internet. It's just that stupid dialer that's provided by ISPS that has to be activated (to serve a dynamic IP). You know the problem, is that everytime the system boots up...there's a 1 to 2 minute delay as Nortons and other programs that automatically connect to the internet go out searching for updates. Problem is, no ip, no connection, no updates. So, the system hangs slightly, until the program times out, and then loads the rest of the desktop. It's a pain. If I could get it to dial in without having to click on the stupid DUN it would be great. I've explained to them it isn't as secure to have their system always connected (they're running the default firewall from MS, so let it be on their heads), but they want it connected, so I'm trying my best to see what I can do. Farking DSL is a pain.
