i was wondering if there was anyway possible to integrate the xp games into server 2003. and if so how would it be done.

if ur going to do unattended and u want to customise it abit more than what u can using nlite then i suggest u download the MS Deployment toolkit and read the help file with all the different options available. and yes those are correct AutoPartion will just try to install windows onto any partition that it hasnt already been detected on. Repartion Specifies whether to delete all partitions on the first drive of the client computer and to reformat the drive with the NTFS file system.

my very very old Dell 468 dx 66 with windows 3.1 it would still be going now if it werent for the fact that i pulled it to pieces for spare parts. nowdays though Amd all the way, they totally dominate the processor market.

wondering if theres any other ways todo it as i have never used AutoIt before and am not too good at writing the old scripts out.

integrate the drivers using nlite and see if that has any effect.

ty that did do the trick. the only problem is that it doesnt seem to show ontop of the menu which is kind of a pain. is there anyway i could make it show ontop as all the other windows will display ontop apart from that one.

Hi im making a RunOnce menu for 2003 that includes the guide to convert it to a workstation. Pic 1 Ive taken out a few things like the patched Uxtheme part as that will already be done using nlite. ive linked most of the buttons to the correct places but i am having some trouble trying to link buttons to certain places, the folder options menu seems to be the only one i cant work out at the moment. Pic 2 i know that its in the Shell32.dll and is dialog 29960 i was wondering if anyone knows a way i could do this. i have tried using shell32.dll,29960 and shell32.dll /29960 neither of which have worked i am using Autoplay Menu Builder 5. todo it many thanks in advance

im doing an unattended 2003 server with sp1 integrated and the OOBE removes the first annoying manage ur server screen but i would like to know if theres a way to get rid of the second annoying screen that u have to click before continuing. any help greatly appreciated.

im hoping one of u will be kind enough to let me have it along with which dll it goes in as i cant remember. thought id post something else too. i dont seem to be able to edit the logonui.exe that came with the pack. i wanted to greyscale the bitmaps. it seems that when i try to use res hacker i cant open bitmap 100 or replace it, i got around it by deleting the resource and then adding it agian with the new bitmap but i keep getting error codes then when i replace the old one and try to log off. dont suppose anyone has any ideas ?

i downloaded the Xpize pack a while back and it had the taskbar clock and ive since downloaded a newer pack and realised the clock was missing, i was hoping i could get hold of it again from somebody if thats ok.

id have to go with Tmpgenc xpress as its both very simple to use has additional features and converts almost anything.

Agreed with atomizer both very lousy products, and both extremely annoying by adding 50000000 entries in the context menus. grrrr

i tried to use stylebuilder but for some reason it didnt want to import or edit the style correctly so ive had to resort to skinstudio which although is very powerful is an absolute nightmare to use.

ive just got this skin off DeviantArt and its a really great colour and style but i would like to make some changes as its abit to dark for my liking. ive got skin studio and am not sure how change a few things. Here is a Before shot of what its like And here is what i would ideally like it to be changed to. ( ive done this in paint for show) if anyone could tell me how i could do this be greatly appreciated. also how can i change the size of the start menu button so that i could use a slimmed down version of the Royale themes one only.

this may sound silly but y dont u just use something like Autorun Pro to create the Setup.exe its far simpler than trying to manually hack the file itself.

there is no java plugin u simply make sure u have the new sun java runtime environment installed .u shouldnt really use the old MS Java anyway as its no longer supported since microsoft got screwed over and sued by Sun. With regards to adblocking i found that the adblocker in Agnitum Outpost Firewall to be very effective aswell as it also being a very good firewall.apart from that i dont know of any good ones as its not a big deal to me.

Daemon tools everytime with the a Arniworx shell plugin as it makes it just so simple to mount images.

i was browsing around on good old softpedia.com and came across TugZIP 3, i currently use WinRAR 3.50 beta 5, anyway i thought i would give it a try and ive been testing it out and i have to say, it is probably the best archiving software out there. it opens nearly all formats and also allows u to compress using a fair few formats also.
