  1. When you 'tech-heads' fine tune this version of how to install files, then im sure that alot of users (including myself) would appreciate a guide
  2. Could somebody please help me with the command to logoff a computer from the DOS prompt? Im writing a program for a high school, that pops up a EULA whenever a student logs in. If a student doesnt agree to the terms and conditions (such as not looking up pr0n etc) it will automatically log them off. Im using VB.NET for this, and ive found ways to log them off using teh code, but unfortunatly, to run the program, it requires Windows to logon properly, which means the student can end task the program, or move it out of the way, and still retain windows functionality. By using the DOS command, i can whack it on the server in the logon script, and they wont have a choice Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I just followed the link, and Norton presented me with a malicious script warning ... So where did you say i can download this cumulative update?

  13. Its like Walt Disney. He's been around for a while, and it was a few years ago that the copywrite for Mickey Mouse and his cute little crew ran out. (Approx 70 years like neophyte said). When the copywrite was valid, if Walt decided to redraw Mickey mouse, give him a new hat or something, it doesnt mean that the previous version of Mickey was able to be freely distributed and used for your own underground gambling and porn logo.
  14. No probs!

  19. %systemdrive% = Root of where you installed Windows. Ie. C:\ %systemroot% = the windows directory. Ie C:\WINDOWS\ You need to use this line: COPY "%systemdrive%\Install\rarreg.key" "%systemdrive%\Program files\Winrar"

  21. Well done Did anything i said have anything to do with resolving your problem? lol
  22. That may not necessarily be a trojan virus you have. A trojan virus is a virus implanted within a program, or disguised as something it isnt. It gets its name from the old Trojan Horse that was used back in the olden days to fool enemies and gain access to castles. You may be looking at a normal, run of the mill, malicious virus So dont just limit your removing techniques to that of trojan horses.
  23. It just seems like a trust issue. Your server thinking that its supposed to block access to thoes two clients. Im trying to give you suggestions that would fix that kind of problem.
  24. try renaming thoes two computers, and adding thoes new computer names to the server.
  25. And it still doesnt work ?
