  1. Im not talking about your website, im reffering to this thread. If you include everyones sigs, and avatars ... its all too much! It struggles and struggles, but just cant get there. It reminds me of the story "The little modem who could" execpt my modem fails miserably at the end :|
  2. Im pretty sure you can delete thoes folders, if you dont wish to be able to use your XP CD to repair an installtion.
  3. There are files and folders you can delete from different programs, for example, you can delete the help files from Norton Anti Virus. You'll have to do a little research to find out which files/folders you can safely delete from other programs.

  10. Why not just edit the batch and save it as a exe the same way you saved it as a batch in the first place? (ie, file --> save as --> all files --> batch.exe)
  11. Do you know if %systemdrive% will work, instead of having to write the physical drive path?
  12. Have you disabled windows file protection?
  13. Do you think that you could possibly give us all a little rundown of how this works? I noticed that the registry keys are incrimented at a value of 10 per key. Any perticular reason for this?

  17. What do you mean by 'cant use cd on XP pro' ? What are you attempting to do ?
  18. When you delete your screensavers, if the XP CD is still in the drive when you reboot, it automatically copies them back over. To stop this, just take your CD out when setup is running the batch files.
  19. Ill use the wallpaper to make a Windows Installation screen for MSFN That is if you dont mind ofcourse.
  20. Greetings and Salutations!
  21. Community Links In Todays Online Reality Union Societies. Only 2 problems with that. 1. It has nothing to do with Windows. 2. The acronym is C.L.I.T.O.R.U.S
  22. Yes, its usually your network connections that takes up all the tiem logging in. If your cable is loose or unplugged, or your NICs/Network is configured incorrectly, then it'll sit there attempting to contact PC which may not exist. Try disabling all network connections you have, and reboot it.
  23. I do .. but im not sure which ones are redundant or not. Ive just downloaded almost every patch (except the ones that are in different languages, and ones that fix problems for software i dont have).
  24. How would someone like to download all the critical updates, zip it up, and whack in a hotfixes.cmd for all us lazy people? That way if people start to download that, and modify it as they choose, diagnosing problems would be a little easier.
