im trying to add a DriversPath to OfflineServicing and point it directly to the dvd drive to see if this works. If it does, then i solved my problem because i don't mind to change the letter on the XML file for each installation and i dont need WinPE drivers. i will post my results.

I had to left some updates out of the integrated image because they integrate well but won't install in a real scenario. I have about 5-6 updates i want to install with silent switches using Setupcomplete.cmd In Setupcomplete.cmd i call a batch file which applies some registry tweaks and run two intel drivers silently. This without any problems. For the updates i want to install i have them all in MSU format (as you download them) and one in MSI (CAPICOM). The only one that gets installed is the MSI. All MSU failed to install and i don't know why. The switches i'm using are /quiet /norestart. I also have them sorted by number. any ideas, suggestions? thanks.

they put so much effort on building all the command-line tools. What makes me upset is that building graphical frontends for those tools wouldn't be hard, but they didn't... so far, i integrated many updates without problems, but i had to left some out because they won't install. im trying to install using setupcomplete.cmd but they are not being installed.

as Arie posted, you should do a search on this forum, there are switches for tons of programs... just to help you a bit: Flashget.exe /S read the unattended guide to know which type of installer use which switches.

i was getting that problem before when doing some vLite tests. I tried to isolate problematic updates in order to avoid this error and i was successful but had to try many times integrating some updates only and making tests... on the vLite forum are some posts about updates that don't integrate well.

browse the Unattended Vista section (which is where you made your post). There are some options, read, then try the one you find best to suit your needs.

if im not wrong, XAMPP and WAMP use NIS for their installers. try /S (note that is case-sensitive). For K-meleon try -ms. That is what FireFox uses for their installer.

The definitions are never up to date anyway.Within 1 hour of installation it'll be updating them again anyway. (or as soon as an internet connection is available/setup) shark you're right, but updating definitions for machines that are not always connected to internet or ones that must work offline is a good security measure that never hurts.

FEAR was and still is one of the best FPS ever. The graphics, theme, ambient, gameplay, action all make a wonderful experience. maybe the story is not that compelling though.

you can enable the Administrator account by using AutoLogon. i don't know if you can rename it. but if you don't enable it and create one user, you get admin privileges.

well, i don't know if you can do that because the setup isn't made for adding programs but you can install it silently with your settings and serial number. search the board for the office 2007 silent setup and follow the instructions. sorry i couldn't be of more help.

you can try Setupcomplete.cmd or FirstLogonCommands to see if it installs fine. Maybe there is less functionality for installers during audit phases.

integrating with pkgmgr works well for me. if you wanna try to run them inside a cmd file go with Setupcomplete.cmd or FirstLogonCommands

I would like to try to install apps in auditUser (currently using FirstLogonCommands) but i don't want to enable the admin account. will it work if a create an user account (not Administrator) here so apps gets installed under this user account? thanks.

you mean the GUI that is displayed at OOBE or the GUI that is displayed if you click to update the performance index in control panel? i have a question. if you use SkipMachineOOBE winSAT doesn't run? i ask this because if winSAT won't run i can shave some minutes off the installation time if i incoporate SkipMachineOOBE in my XML. thanks.

if only microsoft would allows us to do that it will be great. but i think there is no option to do that at all. you can keep a main cmd file (maybe setupcomplete.cmd) and add all of you reg and cmd files to it. this way, you may only need to update the cmd files that requieres a change like the one you can keep with your applications or tweaks.

you have many options here to install apps and apply tweaks. read that Firegeier Guide first. you can install apps and tweaks in Audit phase, in Setupcomplete.cmd agter setups finishes or at firs logon with FirstLogonCommands. im trying the last two methods and everything works great. i will try using runonceex like in xp but i have to do other things first.

will try your approach but so far pkgmgr is doing fine for my other integrations except this realtek driver.

i haven't made a thorough search yet but i want to get this to work in vista too.

vLite doesn't have that feature yet. tou can use many options to run your programs. i don't suggest you copy the programs to the hdd first as you will increase the installation time. go to the Vista Unattended forum here in MSFN and look for options. an easy ones are FirstLogonCommands and Setupcomplete.cmd but there are others as well.

can the new version incorporate support for updating innounp? this way we can only replace innounp.exe when a new version comes out.
