you can try making an autounattend.xml file with WAIK that only changes some preferences and show all the standard dialogs if you want. This way you can make a normal installation a little bit customized to your likings. I don't know if this answers your question.

Have you tried to install the original setup silently? in the drivers section there are many posts on how to do it.

actually they integrate fine but not everything gets translated. i have tested this.

my vista SP1 xml is ultimate. as i stated before, i manually created other xml file using the new WAIK just to be on the safe side. have you tried that? just a suggestion.

to remove all cuatomizations, you have to capture your own wim image. about the watermark i don't know, have you checked you installation disk? some dell discs contain some modified files in there. maybe you can check it out to see if you can replace them.

i know that, but i was wondering if someone has seen any available in windows update after installing SP1. the problems is that MS won't make them available for download. They will be only in windows update and i don't have the computer i installed SP1 to at hand to see for myself.

i just test the new english image from microsoft but i integrated the old psniahs language pack to see if will work? it does but some things are not translated at all. I don't have my laptop at hand now (this is the machine i tested it on). I was wondering if the new language packs are already available to download via windows update. thanks.

i have been testing the new dvd image from microsoft and is working great. Just to be sure, i recreated the autounattend.xml manually in WAIK. I have no problems with the OOBE or the network location. for programs and other extras i have organized things myself in a way that it just takes some minutes to copy over stuff to the new media and thats it.

i hope it was but i couldn't find it for spanish installations. tried vista and xp without luck. thanks to another user, i got the spanish msi installer but i didn't asked where he/she found it.

have you tried another build? (in case there is a newer available). could be the US installer, maybe there is an error since the french worked perfectly for you.

i prefer doPDF, it is also free and i prefer the interface has few more options than primo pdf. doPDF is also being developed actively in the recent months, so i expect new features to be added. try it. www.dopdf.com for a paid program i can recommend NitroPDF Pro. It is great as a viewer/editor and converter.

i just want to point out that some programs can be downloaded without any toolbars. CCleaner has another installer without additional languages and without the yahoo toolbar, look at the "Other build" links in their download page. If i ever need to remove a toolbar, i will look at this scripts. thanks.

have you tried to use Universal Extractor to extract the setup files? this is helpful to see the script file and to change it to your needs. maybe you can choose the video format via the script or remove it at all from there. i haven't tried convertcxtodvd in silent install but i have made a custom installer for CopytoDVD in msi format.

i think you can point the setup to the location of the msi when prompted.

no reinstall kaspersky? what do you mean? please explain a little more.
