*sigh* yes god **** it to hell. Any way around this little problem, other than re-doing it?

So I have this windows unattended. With the attached winnt.sif file. It activates windows after a new install I guess because the activation menu on the start menu-accessories->system tool isn't there. Nor do i get an activate windows on the task bar. But after some time has been passed. Like a month or something, when ever I start my computer it wouldn't let me in, telling me to activate it. I press yes to activate then it gives me an error saying something im not sure. I click cancel, but it won't let me into my account. So I've been doing a re-install every month or so, which is throwing me off cause I keep loosing the stuff on my desktop lol. Throw some help this way please. I like to activate it, but I don't really want to call them for it. And I don't want to re-do my xpcd. Im too lazy right now. I think i've got it a point where it's a great build, and don't like to do it over again. Please help. Thanks WINNT.SIF

maybe if they donate, they can pick their own icons and colours or whatever for their own use and only for them. It's a little more work but just a suggestion. I don't know how hard it is to put different icons so I don't know

So as the title says, what's the difference between two laptops where once has a centrino and another a pentium M? HP DV4150 Intel Centrino 725A 1.6GHz Laptop Gateway MX3563 Intel Pentium M 735 1.70GHz Laptop just two examples of laptops. is there a ratio of some kind? like centrino is better than Pentium M by 1.5 or some sort?

ordered it. 1-7 days lol I found a manual, and it says I can connect using a router and it shows different computers. So that's all good. Im not planning to use a hd for now. If there's any lagging i'll get one but as you said i don't plan to watch movies at such high resolution anyways. can't wait for it to get home thnx for all the answers

Hey Im doing my 4th year project in uni, and got a heartbeat that's about 5 second in length. I need this to loop over and over and have a file that goes on for about 30 min or so. I can loop it in winamp and record it from a mic but the quality wont be the same. I was wondering if there's a software that'll loop and reocrd internally. Thanks

well I found a canadian vendor about 4 provinces away from me and decided to order the mediagate just a few questions. I read the specifications and already know the answer, but ordering from somewhere else where it's a hassel to return i'd like to know for sure. 1. I don't have an S-video input on my tv. I can still connect this right. 2. Does it shows the files that I shared on my computer? Im using a router, and have 3 computers connected. Will it show all the folder that i've shared on those 3 computers? 3. Have you ever felt that the video lagged? LIke sound and video not in sync? that's all. Please reply before this day ends. ok solved it. It was a hardware issue. Needed to update my firmware so it can burn DVD+r 16x.

@ Fox Mulder: I don't think i have a bad batch. Used about 30 out of the 50 and it worked fine. @breadandbubbles: I got that disc-at-once error or something along that when I tried it the first time. Didn't come up the 2nd and 3rd time when burning. I'll turn it off and try. Thanks

I was trying to burn some files onto the DVD. Not DVD iso's but just data like wor ddocuments and clips and such. It worked fine up until now. I wasted 3 dvd's trying different directions from google but nothing. So got a dvd-rw to burn it on now, and was wondering what the problem is. Im attaching a screenshot of the problem, and the log file. Help

So Boxing Day is coming up soon here in Canada, and i'd like to get something. I would like some sort of DVD player that has normal dvd playing capabilities, with the capability to connect to my computer. So a network cable or some sort goes from my computer to the DVD player, and i'd be able to play the movie from my computer through the DVD to my TV using a remote. Wihtout burning them or anything. I know this exists but I don't wanna pay a grand or 2 to get it. Something cheap under like $200 maybe. Let me know please. I believe the xbox 360 does it? But it's too expensive for me right now. OR just anything that I can setup to my tv that uses my computer files using the TV audio too. Anything will do. First one is perferred lol. Thanks

This is a great application. I use it to play online games on LAN here's another one, it's appearently supposed to let you play with each other on different consoles like ps2, xbox. Does it happen when you've gone away from the computer, turning off the monitor. Then come back few hours later and turn it on to find it discoloured? It usually happens to me, and it's because I don't wake it up by moving mouse or pressing some key before I turn on the monitor. Turn it off and turn it back on usually does it, but now i've learn to move my mouse before I turn it back on lol.
