it's not copied over maybe? Check your $OEM$ folder if its done right. or your syntax is wrong. Post your files you used to install applications.

I guess after everything is said and done, all you'd have to do is double click (or call the .exe) and it'll install without switches.

Ello I searched this fourm and on google to find a good weather widget, but there aren't any nice ones that display information that I want. Most or all of them display Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.... weather. I dont normally care what tomorrow's weather will be. lHas anyone run into one where it would display Morning, evening, night kind of weather for that particular day? let me know. Thanks

ok I got everything to work but it just creates another installer. First I have to install firefox, then I install the installer that SOF creates, and it installs my themes and extension fine. Isn't firefox supposed to be integrated with my extensions? Where do I put the firefox installer downloaded from mozilla site?

Does anyone have this file? Everywhere I go, it's a dead link. I'd really like to see it.

RyanVM's update pack, and BTS Driver packs are integrated into XP CD. I don't think it's possible to have users pic those as option, maybe but I haven't really run into any of those threads in here. You can use nlite to get rid of the crap if you like to. I have a 700mb CD, with RyanVM Update Pack + few addon packs + BTS Driver pack + 234MB of software which includes things as MS office and nero and adobe reader, avg blah blah (what an average user would need) I did nlite it, but it still has almost all of the functions, except I can't upgrade with the cd, which i haven't done in the 10 years i've been using a PC, and the language packs. + those xp games except soltaire lol, and the original drivers of xp since you're integrating BTS. Ya i know i haven't answerd your questions, but im just saying it can fit on one cd, unless you're going to put major programs like Photoshop and uncompressed office and all those goodies.

This maybe over rated but an xbox 360 lol. Not as a gaming station but as a pc to hook up to my tv and do all sorts of things. I look at it as a cheaper pc

So I nlited my xp source, which was great and not regretting. I also took out OOBE, which is fine cause I needed that extra space on the CD. Right now I have a problem with creating users. Ofcourse cause there's no GUI to enter usernames, so it installs with an Admin account. Is there anyway to get that user creating GUI done by xp and put it back in my source? I have the original files so getting the files won't be a problem but i don't know which ones, and if it is even possible after nliting it. So im asking just the user creating GUI where it gives you about 5 boxes and you enter usernames. Just that, without anything else like internet connection, activating and all. Thanks

Well, when I put a computer name in the dialog box, it takes that name and adds in a few random numbers(?) and creates a computer name. Anyway to get the name entered by the user and use that as a user account?

So I have this CD for 3 of my computers, and everything is unattended except filling out the Computer name. Which in my house is always the name of the user that will be using it. But at the end of the installation it's always an Adminstrator account. Is there any way to grab the computer name and use it as a user name and create a user automatically?

Well you can skip the whole thing, and then later add users, and registry tweaks for the firewall and antivirus.
