whoops my bad. Yeah it was edited out when I saw it. Oh well

it might be a different parameter name. Try this article. so it would be msiexec.exe /i "NetOpSchoolTeacher_ES.msi" /Lp properties.log Then look in the log file where your cd key is and find the parameter. Then use that parameter name.

http://www.msfn.org/board/search.html Works wonders.

Doesn't it ask you to press Okay on setting resolution when you first login? Maybe that's why it's not setting the resolution. Not sure about the wallpaper though. Try [Display] AutoConfirm=1 T-12 is I believe when there's 12 minutes left on the installation timeline. Check here for the timeline & here on how to use it. You can execute cmdlines.txt with the code.

is it the same as the previous one? You should be able to find the msi file.

Well if I'm understand it right, I don't think it's against the rules. I believe he just wants to know how to automate the process. try NetOpSchoolTeacher_ES.msi /qb PIDKEY=serial #. I'm not too sure.

I get the popup with previous hotfixes also on a new copy. Windows XP PRO 32bit. I'm not sure why but I've always said no to it and it works. As for the multiple drivers, choose the one that says something like winxp64 or something along those lines at the end.

I think you can use vim or flexible renamer

Download the latest version here ccleaner.exe /S then I import this reg file. Removes the right click options on recycle bin and unchecks update. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\Shell\Open CCleaner...] [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\Shell\Run CCleaner] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform\CCleaner] "UpdateCheck"="0" -

D-Link router, default firmware. It's just for home. I've managed to find a simple solution that's working fine for me now. http://www.opendns.com/

I've blocked a few websites through my router. Is there anyway to block proxy sites such as this one. I'm trying to block any and all proxy sites. Is that possible?
-
Yep, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not looking into sleep or hibernation, not my cup of tea

This may sound like a stupid question but it just stems out of me being have no patience. My computer is password protected, so right now when I start the computer it waits for me to input the password. Then I type it in and logs on. What I would like for it to do is, when I start the computer logon automatically without me having to enter the password, then load the desktop, then switch user. I ask this because I like to turn my system on then go do something else and come back to have it ready. I also don't want my computer hijacked by my parents/siblings when I come back from w/e I went to do. I don't want to sit there and enter the password then wait for desktop to load. Ridiculous I know haha but just asking

WampServer 2.0c WampServer is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache, PHP and the MySQL database. It also comes with PHPMyAdmin and SQLiteManager to easily manage your databases. I couldn't find a switch because it pops up asking to uninstall a previous version, so I autoit'd (word? lol) it. Place the file "WampServer2.0c.exe" in the same directory as the exe from rapidshare below and doubleclick. You have to extract the rar. Installs to C:\Program Files\Wamp. Thank you very much for your input. I unfortunately chose not to build it because of all the "troubleshooting" I would have to deal with after I give it to my friend lol. So went with name brand already built ones. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I know what to look for in the future so it wasn't a waste

Case CPU Cooler DVD-Writer Hard drive Motherboard CPU Video card Memory + some other stuff that don't matter much. I'd like it to be under 900 with tax so around $800. This is just above 800 which is fine. I wouldn't say this is a gaming pc or anything of that sort, but w/e gets me the best for 800$ is great! Anything I need to replace or any ideas would be great Thank you.

I ran into this problem before. I used nlite to integrate the sata drivers and worked like a charm.
-
Yeah, I think you just got lucky before with your xp cd where it may have contained the video drivers. Apparently for this one it didn't pick it up. Like he said you'd have to install the drivers, but just to note, in device manager, you may have a lot of yellow question marks and exclamation marks. You'll have to install those drivers as well so you don't get problems in the future.

Just as the title goes, I'm trying to set up a drive as a server to install ccmMercury on a windows xp machine that has a c & a d drive.. Anyone know how I can setup the d drive as a server in the first place? I'm not sure where this belongs, so sorry if it's in the wrong section.

Grake replied to G_DuB24's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
Not sure why it's not working for you. Anyway here's a sample or you can use this. http://files.filefront.com/cal+acsexe/;111...;/fileinfo.html What this does is, creates a folder named CAL_ACS in C:\Program Files\CAL_ACS, put the file cal_acs.exe in there, and creates a shortcut on the desktop. In WPI the command would be something like cmd2[pn]=["%wpipath%\\Install\\CAL\\cal_acs.exe"];
