  1. when I tried it, I made the folder, and put a flashfxp.lnk and ran your code. It copied it fine. is your shortcut named exactly as here?
  2. hmm tried that exact code here and it worked fine.
  3. I don't know if there's a registry key but this does it for me. 1. Register it manually. 2. Take the following files from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer\QuickTime - com.apple.QuickTime.plist - QuickTime.qtp 3. Copy those files back into that folder after you've installed quicktime. I just create an SFX archive and use this comments on winrar Path=%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Apple Computer\QuickTime SavePath Silent=1 Overwrite=2 it's posted somewhere in the forums lol
  4. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] "Personal"="G:\\" that's what I get when I export it.
  5. ;Change location of my documents [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] "Personal" ="G:\\" This has always worked for me. Change G:\\ to whatever.
  6. I use the CDIMAGEGUI at the msfn site, and use alcohol to burn it. Used it on cd's and dvd's. Not a single problem ever. http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/ it's a crap load of work lol.
  7. Anyone know how to hide some files at the root of c: unattendedly(a word? lol) got some files sticking out of there from addon packs and here and there that's important. I'd like to hide it automatically.
  8. is this site one of those MSDN site by any chance? http://www.sce.carleton.ca/msdnaa/ or does it have to be that microsoft one. http://msdn.microsoft.com/
  9. nvm, it was due to a logonui.ex_ file I shoved in the i386 folder.
  10. my icons don't blend in with the wallpaper, has this blocky titles. Any reason?
  11. Im trying to install this PowerDVD and I keep running into this error msg. An installation support file c:\ program files\common files\installshield\iscript\iscript.dll could not be installed. Access is denied. It's completely weird as I installed this same xp over and over and over on my virtual machine just tweaking registry everytime, and the last time I tweaked it was like putting icons in order on the desktop. Nothing to do with this. Why do I keep getting this all of a sudden?
  12. im trying to run this file http://forum.mess.be/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=2814 it's a display changer for msn messenger. I have other related problems but that's code that im working on for school and stuff. any idea? I get nothing in eventvwr.msc.
  13. Scan your computer with antivirus scanners. They always mess anything and everything they can get a hold of lol. 3-4 min is outrageous even if you have so many programs that load up when started. Looks more like an outside job
  14. This bloody run time error is causing a lot of problesm in my life lol. Anyone know how to resolve this? I have XP Pro and it won't work there, but it does work in Win ME, 2000 environment. I have googled about every page that has to do with this error, registered all those DLL files that they told me to, installed VB file ovr and over, but nothing Tried this on a normal xp, nothing nlited or nothing got taken away. 15. I believe the attached pdf is what you're looking for? And great job on the thread Office_7z.pdf
  16. Well it works fine when I install the royal theme on top of the one I've installed already, but as you all know that just makes the whole unattended attended lol Sometimes I don't get that highlight, and sometimes do. Not sure, if any expert has an insight let the fellow ppl know
  17. any clue? Still trying here lol
  18. well just for testing purposes see if it's using the winnt.sif if you have the userdata filled. If it isn't then it's not a problem with winnt.sif file at all. somewhere else i would guess.
  19. then you have to fill in [userData] that's the place where it has cd-key, and computer name. should look like the following.
  20. Did you intentionally take out [userData] to post it in here? if not it shouldn't be empty. If you did take it out, i got no clue. Try a tweak outside of nlite to put explorer on desktop. It's pinned at the top I beleive. that would put my comp above my doc. Only sorting reg key I know of.
  21. So that i can install IIS on the computers I want and not on the ones that don't need it. Instead of having two different winnt.sif files im just wondering if its possible to have it as an option in WPI somewhere. If it's removeable by nlite, shouldn't you be able to extract just those files and install it using some command?
  22. so either it's a no, or too hard? lol
  23. Hey, anyone know how to install IIS as an option in WPI, instead of putting it in winnt.sif? Possible at all?
  24. %systemdrive%\\Drivers\\002_Sound\\CTZAPXX.exe /S
