not really. sp1 contains drivers or updates for drivers brought by sp1. but some times they are not all contained into sp2.

as long as the mobo doesn't touch the case it's ok. only if u wanna stay cool get the spacers.

u cannot lose administrator account. so the only thing u can do is to hide it. so u create another user with administrative power. then right click my computer>advanced>user profiles settings. here it has to show u all users on your pc. choose administrator and then hit delete button. restart and that is it.

use this marvelous program nlite to slipstream sp2 and also to remove a lot of junk that u dont need and also this does other stuff to your cd.

then make a floppy disk to load the sata drivers when setup says press f6 button.... and try that way.

well that would be simple ..... but i dont think it will work....

boot with the xp cd and choose repair. then in the command line type delete mbr and then create mbr. i am not sure that's the right commands but u can use the help from the xp cd.

yes u can remove it safely. there are files created by a service pack after u install it. in order to save more space just slipstream service pack into your windows cd.

ryanvm's pack. it's easy to integrate and contains patches from wu.

why dont u install the .net framwork from here: ryanvm's page. it has all patches integrated. and also it's all silent....

use nlite or visit ryanvm's page. u will find there a hacked file that disable wfp.
