strange .... but u also use the nam included in nforce 6.53?

using nlite windows file protection is off but not disabled. also a folder called dllcache is erased. so that's why u get this messeges. u can try this tool: tool

dude what is the version of the software u use? cause i had no problems using nforce 6.53 with my nlited windows. but also i did not remove ie or its components.

did u scan it using an antivirus and an antispy?

ok use this: windows file protection switch. disable wfp and then try again.

that's what i i did: slipstream sp2 into my xp cd, then add ryanvm's pack, slipstream wmp 10 then nlited my xpcd and i have to say it's working great!!! no problems no nothing.... at least untill now. so the whole thing about service packs and hotfixes is to improve windows. so upgrade!

so like i said find a new sp2 slipstream first with your xp cd and then slipstream ryanvm's pack which contains the last patches and then nlite your cd. at least that is the way i did it an it works great!!!!

i think that the problem is with sp2. the sp2 kit is broken. so u can download it again or order the cd from m$. it doesn't matter if u slipstream sp1 or not. if sp1 and sp2 kits are fine also the xp cd everything will just go fine.....
