allready tested version 3. works fine!!!! thanx! @gnome try the update thingy 2 or more times in a row. i mean after installing windows with wmp10 slipstreamed i check the updates and nothing found. then clicked again on the update button and voila "wmp needs updates". but like i said i think is a problem with wmp10 instalation kit.

no it also appears with normal instalation of wmp 10 on no matter what kind of windows. at least that is the situation for me.

i downloaded the patches. extract the files needed and then compress using makecab or cabarc and the overwrite the files in the i386 folder.

yes is a cd bought from microsoft with sp2 allready integrated. so i tried a lot of things but did not work. wmp 10 is version 3802. and after update dll's is version 3901. but still wants updates. also even if i download the update after install the problem persist. ps also tried with all ryanvm's packs. still the same problem.

well i dont remeber exactlly if was here or on ryanvm's forum. but the post was made by war59312.

it happens to me but it happens even if i have a normal installed windows and a normal installation of wmp 10. so i think is an error in wmp 10. the error persist even after i install all patches for wmp 10. i also saw a post here about how to fix this but it did not work for me.

i looked over google and it seems that u have problems with driver for your sound card.

it seems that i can not find windowsmedia10-kb898549-x86-enu. so where can i find it?

it is wierd cause all the entries went away....better check sysoc.in_ before and after slipstream. i have a feeling is not because of the slipstreamer.....

here is a fresh copy of sysoc.inf taken from xp pro cd english. by the way guys did u try to install? of course using a virtual machine.... sysoc.inf

tried also version 2.2 and it works just fine.

i downloaded too and my antivirus symantec corporate 10 did not say anything. also NCAB works perfect with nero 6.6.0.13.

well i try it on windows xp pro and home and worked fine. now i will try the 2.2 and report soon. @zorro1 did u expand sysoc.in_ after slipstreamer? cause in i386 folder is another sysoc.old.

i forgot to say that after i integrate ryanvm's pack there is no need for the NoWMP9.cab pack.

if u use this as specified i mean after nlite everything is fine with svpack.in_. so i choosed update old svpack.

i redone everything and add manually the line in the sysoc.in_ file. it did work...

yes i did remove windows messenger cause i think is junk. ok thanx for rapid answer. ps manual slipstream is working fine even if i remove windows crap messeger.

that is exactlly how i did it . first ryanvm, nlited and in the end slipstream wmp....

found one problem with nlite no mp3 ripping... i look at the steps in the first slipstreamer and i found that in the sysoc.in_ is missing the entry u specified.
