As for the all in wonders I dont know much about them since they are of no use to me and I dont think it is worth the money they charge for it. If you can wait a little bit till when an x1800 xt comes out then wait. And no you cant change agp into pci-e. The gt and gto cards have been reported to be able to have their pipelines unlocked so you can look into that. While ATI is great right now nvidia has the lead. ATI is lagging. Not because of poor performance but for poor availability.

I would not disable all the pagefile. Some apps still require a minimum of the pagefile to be present so instead of totally turning it off it is a good idea to leave it at some really small number like 10-15 mb.

Asus or Tyan or DFI. Tyan for dual proc setup and workstation specs. DFI for ultimate enthusiast mobo. There is the nforce chipset from nvidia as well as an ati chipset as well. So your choice and good luck!
