  1. Yes, I know, because Vista doesn't support Optimus notebooks. You'd need the one with the manual graphics card switching. Very rare, almost non-existent now, or very expensive.
  2. Just in case some foreigners don't know. What does dry mean in British slang? Uninteresting. Dry is used in general speech to mean that a person or situation is uninspiring or uninteresting.
  3. A cool dream! Sell the plot to film makers, maybe ? So mine is yet another warning then, not PTSD?
  4. Lately, I started to have these weird dreams where I'm around the dead ones, they don't look dead, but I know they are. I talk to them , we do some stuff, like walking, exchanging items (yes, I know it's a very bad omen, actually). They are constantly trying to show me something, trying to explain (?), I have no idea what's this all about. I usually can't watch the dreams 'till the end. Something always wakes me up! Today it was a very loud, annoying dog (which are extremely rare here!... weird, again). I had a similar dream in the 1990's, later I was almost killed in a shootout. Someone had anything similar ? Are these mental issues or not? P.S. I already checked, I'm not cursed, no spells on me.
  5. Yes, exactly! I didn't mean to offend anyone here, and by pointing out that you all talk too much, I meant no harm, I totally understand for all of you it's very important to talk. So like I wrote, better for me stay away.
  6. Hi! Just go to the maker's website and get 'em there. Select Win 7 and they will work for Vista. This one they suggest. Intel HD Graphics, HD Graphics 3000, Intel HD Graphic, v.8.15.10.2253, A03 https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/product-support/product/vostro-3750/drivers
  7. Wrong, in such laptops the HDMI is hooked via Intel. NVidia GPU acts as a slave. Intel is the primary one.
  8. I have an explanation! You all talk too much, I'm too lazy to read/reply, everyone else has died off, very simple. Most posts are lots of milk, too casual, too obvious/generic, nothing that would engage me to support such conversations. The "joke" about me having fakes is getting too old, with a long grey beard. Besides, I have a life, I need to go to the gym, get encounters with my 26 y.o. aging girlfriend. Searching for a new one I might really like is hard and time consuming, due to the fact of me being too picky. So sorry I don't reply often, I'm just busy! Also, I try to reply to the ones with decent English only. Not "dry" English they teach in the third world countries' schools or modern day America. Principal. Only used in the states, purely American. Don't you remember Blade Principal from the German Spellforce? (2003).
  9. Poor woman! Please pass my greetings to your war veteran sister. With people like her we shall win! I don't have PTSD or any forms of it, perhaps due to the fact I'm always prepared to what one could expect from such countries and their populace, seen lots of similar examples during my military days. They also love to put "surpises" inside of toys and other civilian items, just like their elder brother russkie... and then caboom!
  10. What a load of crap ! I use Vista only because of the quality/convenience. I hate everything ribbon/non-aero. Why should I pay for something I don't like/need ? I took extended tests upon entering the academy, I shouldn't be serving in the military, if I had issues. So you're wrong, sorry to disappoint, And I stay away from this topic, since me (mentally healthy) posting here would be 100% off-topic. In any case, please accept my congratulations ! P.S. I have friends from another countries, who are unstable, I understand you.
  11. I'm not surprised, The CCP has been collecting biometrics on everyone. ObamaCare through Maximus Inc (c) made that a realization in terms of the US population. Now it's time for Europe. And with the current amount of ignorance, I trust they will succeed. Also, don't forget about the KGB/Russia owned telegram.
  12. OK, OK, OK, as you say, Perhaps the mods need to move the above four posts to the mental issues topic then.
  13. Reads more like projecting,
  14. 1 - I want to give a hint to use dev. builds with Metrics And Crash Sampling disabled. Goto: chrome://version/ scroll to the bottom and see: Active Variations : MetricsAndCrashSampling:OutOfReportingSample 2 - The perfect solution for this chrome not being able to use H264 videos is to redirect it to the installed system codecs. It would be perfectly legal since, for example, K-Lite is free. EDIT : under chrome://gpu says it can't load msmpeg2vdec.dl
  15. 115.0.5760.0 R2 Feedback : All of the issues with dark theme - fixed ! Millions of Crashpads in the Crashpad are no more (only one small, like it supposed to be). Sandbox - fixed. The browser is flawless. Though, I'll still be dreaming of the undoodled port. Even though it is a bit older (always).
  16. On one hand, yes, annoying - on the other, it can and will be misused. I know examples when users (won't tell their names) simply rip out of context and drive in another diriection.
  17. WinReducer EX-100's develepor is from France, so I might check it out someday, glad it works fiine, thanks for the heads up! https://msfn.org/board/profile/118431-winterstorm/ I have personally used NTLite. NTLite is just terrible. I remember Dave locked the feedback topic when I wrote a small part of what I wanted to say about it in hopes they would fix it. You're only supposed to say it's great and that's it, which is definitely NOT, lol.
  18. On one hand: "Why do people put a space before a question ..." https://www.reddit.com/r/TooAfraidToAsk/comments/fwejui/why_do_people_put_a_space_before_a_question_mark/ 7 Apr 2020 — "It's for emphasis, tone or to symbolize your speech as relaxed or casual. Sometimes punctuation directly after a word can seem really harsh." On the other: It is also required by the rules in several major European languages, French or Portuguese, for example. I remember my short-lived pen-pal from Belgium always did it. Belgium has three major languages: Dutch, French and Frisian. In France we are demanded to put a space by the rules ! So, as we all can see, as a deputy helper, you deserve the bread you eat ! The fella you talk to, might not be English, or maybe he just reads Reddit too often, I dunno. In English, there is no space between the last word of a sentence and its question mark, that's what I remember from school. @Vistapocalypsesorry for the off-top, I didn't start it.
  19. To gain what ? Apart from the very interesting, fascinating hobby of copying data regularly.
  20. Yesterday I decided to refresh my external HDD data, and ............. surprise - it didn't start ! Yes, the LED is on, Windows constantly installing a driver ! The disk is silent. Take a guess, or I will tell you it was the failed PSU. Made in China, but on the side it said gov.in ?!?!??! India ? The external disk is from 2020. WD 6TB EasyStore brand. The HDD itself is fine, Again, that's why we need to use European goods, made in Germany or France.
  21. Well, again from my longish decades with HDDs, it makes sense to play only with those that have Raw Read Errors, but not Bad sectors, with their Raw read errors (usually several, better only one) some may still live for years.
  22. D.Draker is clairvoyant. You should've listened. I wrote *right at the beginnig* of this journey to nowhere. One bad sector - the only straight road for that HDD is your garbage bin.
  23. Bedlam is more like purely British, booby hatch is Transatlantic, I guess. I'm terribly sorry, we aren't really familiar with the nuances of Amercian English here. 100% schools in Europe = British English. AU, NZ, Canada, South Africa , India and pretty much the rest of the world = British English. I also understand it like it was my first language, similar spellings and words.
  24. Bedlam or booby hatch.
  25. And it looks like it doesn't know the flag disable crashpad, I have millions of them in the Crashpad folder.
