  1. Oh, I see, thanks for clarifying, don't let yourself be mislead by that user into topics derailing! Yeah, I figured that the deleted post had no value. Tell me, did you already update to Chrome stable 120/121? They say the Skia issue is fixed there. I don't, I feel it's slower.
  2. My friend, you're lost. MBAE or Server 2008 updates for Vista x86 and Server 2008 x64 are not the topic subject here. You better tell us how do you fight this new Skia danger? Please stay on-topic.
  3. CVE-2023-6345 Detail https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2023-6345
  4. I also remember this one, but it's most likely down, it's from 2012. (and it's paid) https://softdeluxe.com/Smart-Hide-IP-2042941/
  5. Someone knows, does this oldie still work fine? I mean, Cnet still has it listed. https://download.cnet.com/real-hide-ip/3000-2144_4-10907662.html EDIT: t's not based on the nasty OpenVPN. They wrote - the last one is from 2017.
  6. "Do you realise these Polaris/Maxwell GPUs are at least two point two times slower than the slowest next-gen GPUs? Do you realise they have never been 1080p60Ultra go to options, even when released? Do you realise they are so aged it's only possible to sell them if your barter skill is over 70 points or your price is below $50? They lost their value and they have never been more valuable than current gen GPUs, especially $500ish ones (4070 and 7800 XT)." https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/goto/post?id=5166755
  7. And this is what military experts like D.Draker get. Canvas toDataURL ×False Canvas Fingerprint Signature n/a Uniqueness n/a
  8. Then it's strange you were not aware of this simple setting which is there for ages. privacy.resistFingerprinting
  9. I'll add: it's used by cloudfare and instagram uses Canvas toDataURL when uploading a photo. @Sampei.Nihira, canvas fingerprinting in a firefox based browser, this is what they talk about here.
  10. The extensions you use in Edge are not relevant to this topic. And you are wrong, canvas is very important, like @UCyborgwrote - it's even used by youtube.
  11. No, you didn't post the most interesting result with your canvas (which they discuss). https://browserleaks.com/canvas As for Webrtc, it's not interesting, it's achieved with any primitive extension or setting.
  12. As of now, seems like they finally started to roll out patches. But what do they mean by "emergency patches"? Are those only temporary? Not full? "Google releases emergency patches for eighth Chrome zero-day of 2023" By Steve Zurier. https://www.scmagazine.com/news/google-releases-emergency-patches-for-eighth-chrome-zero-day-of-2023
  13. Correction: Clément Lecigne is actually from Switzerland. What do you folks think, is this scary enough? Skia is used for 2D rendering, not good at all.
  14. Thank you Dave! Now all is fine. You're always very helpful! Every website dreams of having a moderator like you. Please accept my cordial wishes for the upcoming New Year!
  15. "...was reported on Friday, November 24, by Benoît Sevens and Clément Lecigne, two security researchers with Google's Threat Analysis Group (TAG)." Source>By Sergiu Gatlan (who has covered cybersecurity, technology, and other news beats for more than a decade.) https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/google-chrome-emergency-update-fixes-7th-zero-day-exploited-in-2023/ "Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2023-6345 exists in the wild," the company said. https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2023/11/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_28.html
  16. Dave, thank you for getting back at me, yes, nothing has changed,
  17. Generally, you will be fine, as long as don't visit a country which is openly hostile. For example, France is a friendly place, very friendly and open, we just tend to keep our preferences to ourselves. When planning your vacation, it's advisable to check the warnings regarding that. I think it's safe to assume - you will be good in Western Europe.
  18. I think it's the question to the supervisor. But their spelling is indeed funny.
  19. Anyways, I'd gladly purchase a good Vista compatible video player with DTS HDMA.
  20. Is this really true? 70% sale sounds so cool! Though the shop says only "Up to 50% off!" "Wide selection of authentic software license keys at UBEATABLE prices". Someone knows what's "UBEATABLE" means? UNBEATABLE, maybe?
  21. It's only funny until you get infected with fake jpeg,
  22. @Dixel! Haven't heard from you for some time, is everything fine?

I've sent another portion of files, I'm getting very close to porting Chrome M121, but getting the same old crash at the settings page, could you look into it, thanks.

      Debug included.

      No hurry, of course.

  23. The only solution for the canvas would be to incorporate some form of a fake canvas generator (changes with every launch), like they did it in the Ungoofed Chrome.
  24. We also clearly need more interesting content posters. I can't work alone for all of you.
