Should I get a GTX 1080ti or a GTX Titan X Pascal for vista?
D.Draker replied to Aiek's topic in Windows Vista
It kind of depends on whether one uses my unofficial modded drivers or not. Pascal on Vista is quite possible if one follows my tutorial on the installation. -
Anyone already watched Madame Web ? In Cinemas since 14 February, 2024 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madame_Web_(film)

I always start checking any hardware by disconnecting everything, only that part needs to be left. I also played with flashing many times before, even changing GPU BIOS with the same specs can improve performance. For example, I had and old EVGA GTX 980 (2014 or 2013), it had a conflict with my 192Khz PCI audio board, I re-flashed the GPU - problems gone. I took the default nVidia reference BIOS. I guess it's just more tested and compatible rather than "partner" manufacturers' BIOS. And yes, I too have a very similar Xeon Mobo.

Wonka film review is rather good, but "Timothée Chalamet is a bit miscast". I'm not surprised, I felt the same. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/reviews/wonka-review-timothee-chalamet-b2457979.html Independent is a credible source with good critics, I don't want to argue with anyone, just accept this fact. Those who don't agree, I'm sorry, you aren't critics from Independent, but you of course have the right to your individual view on this.

It's very hard to read when every word is capslocked and/or capitalized, sorry, I shan't read your reply, There are widely accepted rules of English spelling and social behaviour. I was under the impression they also have them in your country. Again, sorry, but I'll ignore.

Wow, I didn't know they were still making DVDs in 2019! Unbelievable! How's the quality? American NTSC DVD 480p screen res. height standard seems so low these days. European PAL DVD standard is higher (576p), though I think not enough these days.

Virginia Madsen looks like a Princess, someone having Royal Blood. Florence Pugh looks like a random instagram woman. And yes, I watched the film, we here got it for very cheap. on sale.
-
Whom exactly do you call "young"? Princess Irulan. Original - Virginia Gayle Madsen (born September 11, 1961), 21 years old at the moment of filming in 1983. Remake (weakest cast ever) - Princess Irulan. Florence Pugh (/ p j uː / " PEW "; born 3 January 1996) - 28 years old! But probably still "young" for Christopher Walken, in his 80s.

Tuta Mail adds new Quantum-resistant encryption to protect email
D.Draker replied to a topic in Web Browsers
@XPerceniol is right. It's not linked to a particular OS, it's linked to the abilities of a browser and a good IP it wants to see. -
I stopped celebrating birthdays at 18. It's a good French tradition, I accept gifts though.

Some fast research - Brave community page tells us it's based on Chromium 120.0.6099.144 https://community.brave.com/t/release-channel-1-61-109/522518 It shouldn't start on Windows 7 by the definition. But you're very welcome to try and tell us.

Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
Look at my account, I have 2 tutorials, but it's only for Vista and nVidia, not AMD, so it's unfortunately off-topic here. -
Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
This code is held secret by the companies nVIDIA and AMD, anyone can try to find the papers on them without any results, -
Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
I said I ported them, not wrote. And all of that because of the code leftovers. But as of now, even Windows 7 is dropped for several years, what you see today in the form of Windows 7 releases, they are just "security" driver updates based on old drivers from the year 2020 or so. -
Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
No, I meant the code inside the divers, not the OS, I think I wrote about it pretty clear, no? -
Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
In details, why my Vista Nvidia drivers porting is a success? Because they had to let the old code from Windows 7 still be there, and Windows 7 parts are similar to the ones of Vista, despite being of much lower quality, poorly written code parts. Again, it's all public knowledge, anyone (even a bit knowledgeable) can check. For XP one would need to write new drivers from scratch. Period. -
Backported/Modded AMD Radeon Driver for Windows XP x86/x64?
D.Draker replied to SFMG's topic in Windows XP
I explain with very simple words. There can't be "porting" or "modding" of existing drivers, be it AMD or Nvidia, XP code (along with the code that was bearing older cards gens) was simply removed. It's public knowledge, and this one of the reasons why you all don't see "backports". -
Despite quite common belief, CaXpons can live up to 7 years just fine, after they need to be replaced 100%.

On which OS this exact error you observed?
