  1. I can take a wild guess, perhaps it's that forum which name starts with "ecl" included in your topic? It's been known for open hostility towards MSFN, some certain well known members especially, win32 for example, whom they even dared to ban. Not to mention, "ecl" hosts rather dubious content, like edited ISO images, forbidden here at MSFN, but it's just my guess. Another reason, maybe it's your IP they don't like? Forums are usually connected to a "bad IP" database. Not saying yours is bad, probably a mistake?
  2. No, it's rather "I have a 15-20 years old CPU, which sucks that much, so I have to use use all available hardware (including the GPU) in a desperate attempt to squeeze out every bit of what is left of my hopelessly outdated PC". P.S. "Even 20 years ago my CPU sucked big time 'cause I chose the cheapest from the low end line".
  3. Which revision of 945 you're talking about? This one? https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-945GM-S2-rev-3x
  4. Be warned, all those ASM 10xx gave me a huge framerate drop and overloaded my whole PCI BUS. For example, I couldn't normally watch a film (choppy) while copying big files through that card.
  5. Works absolutely fine for me. Out of curiosity, I clicked on the first post in one of my ported Opera topics and didn't get "403".
  6. Everyone on XP, simply give up any attempts to accelerate anything with GPU on XP, completely block GPU process, and this will give a boost for your starting up.
  7. You want to download supermium? Here you go, enjoy. You should've asked D.Draker in the first place. For Vista/7, I suggest the only one - 117. Though! Secure DNS fixed for Windows Vista/7 were only fixed in 118, but 118 feels heavier. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases
  8. Hotfix released https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases/tag/v121-hf
  9. @UCyborgmeant on the contrary, he wants GPU features to be fully working to take the load off the CPU.
  10. Those modules are very well protected, and their DDR3 slots, too, not to mention they are mounted in vertical positions in 99% of mobos.
  11. Angry birds. "Author made every time new version based on new chromium, maybe time to stop and made one old but stable release? I putted alot of time to test this unstable handmade stuff. At this point i leave this project and go ..." https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/215#issuecomment-1918460518 P.S. Quoted with author's original broken English.
  12. Your perfectly know - I do, even though it's my eighth language, no wait, eleventh. The way you talk is extremely rude. Yes, "I do comprehend". What I don't, why the hell you're allowed to behave like that. MSFN, really? It works even on Chrome 60 (from a decade ago), MSFN isn't the best testing grounds otu there, while almost everyone these days uses youtube and/or gmail.
  13. So how it correlates with what you wrote before?
  14. Like @NotHereToPlayGames always says, we'd like to see the documented measurements. No disrespect to win32, but I see the 121 version is much slower and buggy, comparing to the fast'n'good 117. Probably, it has something to do with the XP porting. And I'm not the only one noticing. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1259143
  15. Yes, you'd do better were to stop offending people, particularly due to the profanity in your second language, and keeping the high road. It does exist. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1259172 I use Dixel's launcher, it prevents Supermium from storing crap in the LocalState file.
  16. Major, important, fundamental flags like --no-first-run or --time-zone-for-testing=UTC, they didn't change, so no worries. What was a pleasant surprise, you study right from me, so maybe not all is lost. I took a quick look at your list, your research is far better than the same of @Sampei.Nihira.
  17. What is good, at least you learn from me the right variants (my post link), and not replicate the errors made in @Sampei.Nihira's list.
  18. The list needs to be rechecked, from a short stare, I can see: some flags were added several times --process-per-site, for example.
  19. Wow! What a huge list! Do you know what every flag means? What time does it take for the browser to start with such a list?
  20. Dave, I don't have experience with Windows 10, but in the past I successfully restored a damaged VHD for a friend with the help of Recuva. Piriform Software Ltd is a British software company based in London https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/42582-recover-vhd-files-from-quick-formatted-disk/ https://support.ccleaner.com/s/article/recovering-files-from-damaged-or-reformatted-disks-with-recuva?language=en_GB
  21. It's always a good idea to use search function before posting, as much as possible. Because it could be already explained, etc. https://msfn.org/board/topic/183033-list-guide-list-of-hardware-that-supports-windows-vista-uefi-boot-and-how-to-boot-vista-with-uefi/
  22. Topic's title is always for a reason, it's always advisable to follow it, thus preventing further confusion.
  23. Besides, it's better to write about any issues in the dedicated section (so the developer would see). https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/
  24. You confuse Windows XP with Windows XP 64, the OP has Windows XP (which he wrote about), but you gave the link to the issues on Windows XP 64. "Supermium not working on Windows XP x64"
  25. Dave, does the new mobo has the same BIOS?
