That's why you need to use OEM drivers. "Throttling on all drivers from nvidia site - laptop" https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/292634/throttling-on-all-drivers-from-site-nvidia-laptop-/ "That's your "punishment" for buying laptops for gaming. You're fully at the mercy of the manufacturer, and rely on their driver updates, instead of being able to just use Nvidia's generic drivers and constant improvements." "You'll have to get back to whatever driver is offered for your laptop on Acer's website." "This is because the OEM manufacturer is the manufacturer of the graphics device (card); not Nvidia, which only produces the physical "chip" to these manufacturers. Vram, PCB, VRM, trace, and cooling are all designed by the OEM manufacturer; thus is considered as "proprietary" hardware. In which; has it's own thermal and power limits that can be effected with use of 3rd party (vanilla) drivers and can damage or lower the performance of the hardware. (Not to mention interfere with the unit's Optimus switching ability). The laptop model# must also be added to the supported driver ID list by Nvidia prior to the unit being supported via 3rd party vanilla drivers."

Do you know Compa? I'm afraid, not.

those are problematic, better to purchase a dedicated usb card for Vista.

I hope he will read and come back here to talk to his old internet buddy D.Draker.

How's Compa doing ? I really miss him. I like non-standard thinking people.

The reviews on trustpilot are simply scary, I wanted to try, I can't, I just can't force myself to, sorry. Just one example: "It Went From Mozilla to Mobzilla. There is a reason why I don't frequently call it Mozilla anymore. A reason why I call it Mobzilla is because the leftist mob controls Mobzilla now." https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/6060d0dcf85d7508703a63e2

R346 Branch is the best overall, esp. for older notebooks still running Kepler. https://msfn.org/board/topic/182534-geforce-gt-710-cards-under-windows-xp-findings/?do=findComment&comment=1271374

jaclaz, thank you for the research, brilliant! Considering everything from the above, we have to assume it's indeed a Soviet style spelling, and our new member is Arseniy Petrovych.
-
Not that simple for old boards, bear in mind 1030 is much newer than most LGA775, and may have incompatibilities. Try to upgrade the BIOS, then.

There was a proper investigation with the Kepler line, and this driver is the only one recommended, bear in mind 700 Series Kepler is "End Of Life". https://hwbot.org/newsflash/2971_ragingcain_investigates_gtx_780_ti_end_of_life_kepler_driver_scaling_from_331.93_to_353.38

I don't trust they will be good, if work at all. From my long experience with nVidia drivers, those generic ones from nVidia site totally suck. One would need to use OEM drivers to get the best, besides I got a recent example. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186395-3d-video-card-not-working-windows-7-sp1-x64/

Oh, I see, a rare name. I tried to look for it, the only search result is Arseniy Petrovych Yatsenyuk, May 22, 1974, Chernivtsi, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Arseniy

When I tried Win7, it also had a white burst with a hacked dark theme applied. And in Win7 you can't officially change the white folder background.

Yes, they finally made a spoof function (I think starting somewhere in v.115 or so). Earlier, I used to randomise it by playing with ciphers/their quantity. But then again, Akamai stays the same.

Well, then you can't say fingerprinting for the masses is the same for you. I'm sure those who posted on github do the same (block by default), and they get fingerprinted rather differently.

Dell Dimension 2400 I/O ACPI conflicts Win98 SE

Good luck with your new setup! -
Even if you manage to mod the files, you'd have to disable Windows 10 files protection first, and at least to have a bit of skills. Modded files will be overwritten by numerous Win10 updates, you'd have to redo many times, it's not worth it in my opinion.

The OP started this thread in 2024, I think he searched for official drivers first, they didn't work, hence the topic. Probably, someone else will test again... P.S. Many would be happy.

Modern Minecraft 1.18+ On XP x64 Is It Even Possible?
D.Draker replied to legacyfan's topic in Windows XP 64 Bit Edition
Of course it does! Everything is archived, even when you type, there's a keylogger discussed many times. -
There was no need to "measure" per se, what do you get under JA3 Hash and Akamai Hash?

ME is indeed better, I had it for many years, 60Hz is pretty much very standard, strange. -

Try to lower the refresh rate, from 75Hz to 60Hz, for example.
