Yeah, the Win-key-s/Irfanview is actually similar to my default. I don't generally paste "print screens" and my hotkey and program is different. My primary point is that if a first-time image-poster is trying to figure out HOW, it just seems easier to direct him/her to something that should already be on his/her computer and not making him/her think Irfanview is "required". That's all I was tryin' to say. But hey, written communication is FAR from my strong suit.

You do not need Irfanview. Just click the "print screen" button on your keyboard then paste (ctrl-V) with the cursor in the reply box (as in below [screen on right is maximized System Informer just to intentionally hide items on that screen before posting to the public). The "print screen" button will not appear to do anything, it's not until you PASTE what the "print screen" button COPIED. Or, just paste into something like LEGACY PAINT, edit, crop, add lines and arrows and boxes and highlights, you name it. Then copy from legacy paint and paste that into the reply box. The Win-Key-S won't work for "everybody" (that's a "Snipping Tool" shortcut that people like me UNINSTALL (because I have better third-party software for that function)). Everything needed is already on *any* Windows system. No need for Irfanview (unless you ALREADY use it, point is, you don't need to ADD anything to your Windows system if you don't want to). Edit - but be aware that you can only paste so many images here at MSFN before you RUN OUT OF ROOM allocated for you. You'll need to go to your profile and delete past images in order to paste new images once you hit your profile limit.

<OT> Never know what discoveries will be revealed just by reading MSFN. The above link's run/reset ability was "broken" by a "Disable OpenSearch" userscript that I've been using for 7yrs (here) without issue. Updated to a version only 3yrs old (here) and all is right with the world again.

I seem to recall that the developer has publicly asked for assistance and nobody stepped up to the plate. Granted, at the time, that request was in reference to XP/Vista support. The userbase (my opinion) has grown INCREASINGLY impatient with the "release schedule". You can find Reddit posts asking if r3dfox is "abandoned" if it goes so much as ONE MONTH without a new release. ONE MONTH !!! There are also requests for NIGHTLY BUILDS !!! And every time a Firefox ESR "security bulletin" is posted, the board jumps to life BEGGING for an update. Begging, Begging, Begging! Personally, in my humble opion, this is where A.I. should become everybody's "best friend". The compile process takes roughly 1/2hr and while that may not sound like much, most everybody does have LIVES. Not everybody is a "robot / machine" dedicatingly programmed into a "ritual" of posting software updates each and every week. Let's be honest, not many of us are WILLING to dedicate the amount of TIME out of our LIVES that folks like @roytam1 does every week! A.I. could do all of this for us! Well aware. But answer me this, WHERE does that COME FROM ??? It wasn't plucked out of the sky! It comes from somewhere! A third-party extension? A program installed on the OS but accessed via Supermium or Iron or <your browser here>? I *THINK* (no clue!) that it comes from an EXTENSION that DISCORD users have added to Supermium and other Discord users have added to Iron. Or simply "accessed" Discord "through" Supermium or Iron or <your browser here>. As far as "Discord user", think YouTube on Supermium as "YouTube user" or YouTube on Iron as "YouTube user". The redirect issue is not an issue for me. It's also not an issue for you. Because we are not "Discord users". And *only* those "Discord users" are getting the REDIRECT being discussed (technically, it's being IGNORED, you and I are the only one's discussing, lol). The problem is not Supermium. The problem is not Iron. The problem is not <your browser here>. The problem is the ORIGINAL SOURCE of WHERE that User Agent comes from. It comes from somewhere. You don't seem to be following the ENTIRE discussion. I have no clue what "discord preview" is, but it not the browser "by itself". It's an extension or something added to the browser and only users that have ADDED "discord preview" to their browser (some added it to Iron, some added it to Supermium), only THEY are getting this redirect discussed here. The rest of us (you and me that have no clue what "discord preview" IS), we are not affected by this redirect discussed here.

Um... The rest of us don't know what "discord preview" is and nobody here would even admit this issue ONLY affecting Discord users. Seems like that should have been a shared detail so that the rest of us weren't "wasting time".

Then enter a RANDOM username. I have been able to "trigger" the Cloudflare with a SUCCESSFUL login in one browser, but then trying to log in with a different browser while that first browser is still logged in. I would have to "downgrade" my browser version to get to the INFINITE LOOP on Cloudflare. But I kinda can't do that, it has a tendency to corrupt the profile if you "downgrade". The whole point that brought up all this is that a Cloudflare COMPLEXITY (this post) is not "universal". It is a FACT that my sewer bill pay Cloudflare will enter into an INFINITE LOOP but other web sites Cloudflare WORK. It's kind of my "theory" that the Cloudflare "updates" propagate from a central location and the server for my sewer bill pay is closest to the center of that outward propagation. But just a "theory". All I know is that it has happened TWICE and BOTH times required upgrading my OLD browser version to a LESS OLD, I didn't have to get the most recent, but did have to upgrade. And as far as THIS thread is concerned, it was PHYSICAL PROOF that one web sites Cloudflare IS NOT IDENTICAL to another web sites Cloudflare. But I kind of have to assume that it kind of boils down to one server simply getting a "Cloudflare update" a week or two before the other web sites. My conclusion to the matter: CLOUDFLARE SUCKS !!!

Well, I wasn't looking for confirmation. You asked for an example where Cloudflare will LOOP on Site A despite Cloudflare working just fine on Sites B through Z. It does not surprise me that a web site where I pay my sewer bill in Midwest USA is "banned" OUTSIDE of the USA.

But you don't get the Cloudflare captcha until the login process in the upper right corner. Next time it happens (and I'm convinced that there *WILL* be a "next time"), I can try logging in with FAKE login credentials and see if that triggers the Cloudflare loop. Last November, Cloudflare would infinite loop when I was on a browser version *only* TWO versions "old" "prior". Infinite loop in Official Chrome v136 and in Official Chromium v136. Only way to get past Cloudflare was to upgrade to v138 (but updated to v140 for other reasons). And just last month, this site would also Cloudflare infinite loop when I was on a browser *only* THREE versions "old" "prior". Infinite loop in Official Chrome v140 and in Official Chromium v140. Only way to get past Cloudflare was to upgrade to v143.

The specific website(s) should probably be cited. Not "all" Cloudflare captchas are "the same". Even in MODERN Chrome/Chromium (not most-recent, but only 2 or 3 versions behind !!!) you can encounter Cloudflare ENDLESS LOOPS on website A but websites B thru Z all work perfectly fine. The Cloudflare on website A loops endlessly, UNSOLVABLE. But the Cloudflare on websites B thru Z all work perfectly fine.

Oh yeah, correct regarding Supermium. I tried on Supermium in XP and could not replicate the redirect, as I posted previously. I AM NOT IGNORING THE STUPID CAT! I AM ATTEMPTING TO REPLICATE *BEFORE* I ANSWER. I have NOT been able to replicate the stupid cat icon.

The only specific combination we have been told that this redirect is happening is Iron 109 on Win7. Which I tried and I could not replicate. To the best of my knowledge, it *ONLY* affects users of DISCORD. But that has not been confirmed.

It's only affecting a very small number of users. I have *NOT* been able to replicate! But not just me, this entire thread hasn't yet revealed additional affected users. None of those that have been affected have been able to provide enough details for those of us not affected to become affected. So it is kind of "their problem", not "our problem". Maybe they tracked it down to a corrupt browser profile but have not revealed that fix to the rest of us? We can all only speculate since none of the affected has reported 1) that it's fixed, or 2) additional details so that we can replicate.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to "minimize" the situation. BitLocker is to protect "data", NOTHING MORE. So it really does boil down to this bottom line - would a thief run with that laptop for the monetary value of reselling the laptop, or for the monetary value of the DATA that is stored on that laptop? For what it is worth, my brother owns a small computer repair shop and even he MOCKS ME for running a hard drive through a 3-pass DoD "wipe" before donating to Goodwill. He asks basically the same question, "What data is on there that is really worth the steps to recover something after a 'format'?" That 3-pass "wipe" took SIX HOURS to run on my last Goodwill donation. I run it anyway! Because it's not that difficult to "recover" content from a "formatted" hard drive.

That seems rather predictable, in my opinion. Not to overly state my view, as it is "your" responibility for that loved-one's laptop, but BitLocker should *never* be used on *any* computer that doesn't have "data" 'worth hundreds, if not millions' to a thief that would steal it and request ransom be paid in Bitcoin.
