@AstroSkipper If I remember well, your computer is full of Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 patches. Perhaps that the issue comes from that. Your OS isn't anymore a real XP and I don't think that @feodor2 has installed all these patches on his computers. Comparing yours results will be very complicated. Regards -

I would like to use Mypal without SSE2 on real hardware (not VMs). I own an old computer (Socket A motherboard) with a Sempron 2800+ processor. I can run Palemoon fork by @roytam1 on it, even if it is slow. But the renderer engine of Palemoon is to much in late on the web standards. Browsers based on chromium are too much heavy and unusable on this computer. So it remains Mypal... But I don't use this computer on a daily basis and even less for surfing as I own many others computers. So If you are not interested and/or if that require a lot of efforts, I understand that and I would like to thank you very much for what you do for the community with Mypal. Regards -

@George King Thank you ! I will add this program to my (already) big collection of CMD tools. I'm scripting a lot and new CMD tools are always welcome. Some news about a possible modern release of Rufus for XP ? Regards -
You are wrong... Go to https://github.com/artenax/tor/releases On the page, for Tor 0.4.7.8 only the firsts 12 assets are displayed. Below the last asset displayed, If you click on "Show all 14 assets", you will see download links for the last two assets. One of them is tor-0.4.7.8-x86-xp.zip https://github.com/artenax/tor/releases/download/0.4.7.8/tor-0.4.7.8-x86-xp.zip Regards

On the laptop that I'am using for testing Mypal, I have 4GB of memory. I have always the same BSOD involving win32k.sys. BSOD occur at exit of Mypal with the following settings: layers.omtp.enabled - true layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled - false dom.ipc.processCount - 1 browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory - true PagedPoolSize - 0 (default on my computers) Only one log file in Mypal folder : !PaintThreadStart_A.log BluescreenView informations : https://easyupload.io/m/1lvuli (BSOD1.txt) BSOD occur at exit of Mypal with the following settings: layers.omtp.enabled - true layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled - false dom.ipc.processCount - 1 browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory - true PagedPoolSize - FFFFFFFF Only one log file in Mypal folder : !PaintThreadStart_A.log BluescreenView informations : https://easyupload.io/m/1lvuli (BSOD2.txt) In all cases, the BSOD occur when I close Mypal. In my previous post, there is an error, I can get a BSOD even after 5 minutes of web surfing. If I launch Mypal, go to the about:config for changing some settings and exit Mypal, there is no BSOD. I must do web surfing before closing Mypal to get a BSOD. Regards -

@feodor2 I get a BSOD after 30, 40 minutes of web surfing with Mypal, not at shudown of the computer. Yes, layers.omtp.enabled false resolve the issue. With omtp.enabled false I don't have any display artifact like you ! Regards -
My post wasn't specifically about Samsung Magician, it was just an example of how works a tool like this. Regards

@feodor2 I have tried your special edition for testing omtp. After BSOD, all log files are empty (0 bytes). Regards
