  1. So, game over for MBAE. I will stay with the release 1.12.1.90 (the latest fully compatible with XP) Have a nice day!
  2. YES, the issue about the icon is resolved but sadly not the logging of the service in the events viewer. Have a nice day!
  3. @Sampei.Nihira Is the issue with the MBAE service resolved ? https://msfn.org/board/topic/176299-latest-version-of-software-running-on-xp/?do=findComment&comment=1183416 Have a nice day!
  4. For me, the title of the files aren't displayed and the settings are not saved in the program's folder but in the Application Data of the user's profile...
  5. Yes, between one and two minutes after start of a session. Yes, all is fine, my browsers are protected. On one computer with the same configuration, I have tested all the versions of MBAE that I have : 1.06.1.1019 OK! 1.07.1.1015 OK! 1.08.1.2572 OK! 1.09.1.1410 OK! 1.10.1.24 OK! 1.11.1.79 OK! 1.12.1.90 OK! 1.12.1.109 icon appear with a delay and the error message is reported in the logs of Windows 1.13.1.186 icon appear with a delay and the error message is reported in the logs of Windows It seems that MBAE is loosing it's full compatibility with XP.
  6. @Sampei.Nihira In the events viewer of Windows XP, do you have an error message in the system category at each start of the MBAE service ? ID event 7022 Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Service is waiting to start Otherwise, MBAE is running fine...
  7. OK, I understand much better now. It is useful to install the NTOSKRNL Emu_Extender and storport.sys without moded AHCI drivers on a already existing XP system ?
  8. Nice, but do you have download links for already compiled drivers ? And how to install all these drivers on a already existing XP system ? I understand the purpose of the NVME or USB 3.0 drivers but what is the purpose of the WDF and storport.sys drivers ?
  9. For web pages displayed in russian or in chinese, there is 2 solutions : https://msfn.org/board/topic/178380-extreme-explorer-360-chromium-78-general-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=1174038 https://msfn.org/board/topic/178380-extreme-explorer-360-chromium-78-general-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=1175311
  10. OK, thank you, I understand now. With each new release, chromium is more and more heavy and slow. On a barebone with an Intel Atom D525 from 2011, I use only the russian 360 Chrome Browser 11.0.2251. Releases 12.x impact too heavily the resources of this computer. I use the russian 360 Chrome Browser 12.0.1014 on a Zotac ID18 mini PC (celeron 1007U from 2013) and the result is good.
  11. With russian 360 Chrome Browser 12.0.1014.0, I don't have any issue with the interface, displayed in english for me. Not tested with build 1386.0. How do you do that ?
  12. No compatibility issues with XP ?
  13. Do you have compiled from sources with your modded Python37 ? I'm a newbie in this domain, how do you do that ?
  14. Why change something that works very well ? The version 5 of Pop Peeper is being developped. When it will be release, perhaps that I will update my copy to the version 4. After a lot of tests of course.
  15. Within PopPeeper you can compose and send messages. When displaying messages in HTML format, you can block external images and data : WOT isn't included with the free version, see the comparison between the editions : https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/ With 7 accounts and 928 messages : I'am using version 3.8.1 since 8 years now. it works like a charm. If you need this version, tell me.
  16. PopPeeper is much better... https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/
  17. The answer about this issue is here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/178380-extreme-explorer-360-chromium-78-general-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=1174038
  18. --disk-cache-dir="w:\" --media-cache-dir="w:\" Replace w by the letter of a drive that is never allocated on your computer and you will say bye bye to the cache.
  19. Perhaps more simple to use, especially with command line tools. I Use a lot of them for my scripts.
  20. OK, I have jush finished to test PatchPE 1.30 (why not version 1.31, see below) with hexdump for Windows https://www.di-mgt.com.au/hexdump-for-windows.html By default, hexdump doesn't works on XP: So, I have patched hexdump with PatchPE 1.30 and that's works : I have used version 1.30 because version 1.31 doesn't works on XP ! BUT, if you want, you can patch PatchPE 1.31 with PatchPE 1.30 and it will works again on XP : There is only one disavantage with the version 1.31, now PatchPE need a computer that's support SSE2. It is not the case with the version 1.30. It seems that PatchPE can be useful in some situations.
  21. Memory footprint can't decrease with no activity ?
  22. Five minutes after closing the browser: There is a real memory management issue. Pehaps that @heinoganda has a debug version of the proxy ?
