It does make sense, but the user should be informed that he has user configs set that override it
-
well but creating only one config has the problem that when a sys-config exists but another user wanna have his own settings, that he cant change the sysconf. rather there should be an information about that the active user already has something set in there

well to bring it short: you will get a number of full versions according to how much you donate. (5 slotsfor way less than 10€)your Computer code is detemined by you CPU and HDD ID in other words you can swap all other part any your code will stay the same.if something happens to your Computer, like you sell or modify it, you can disable the Unneded code, so your full Version slot does not get occupied with a no onger needed code, BUT when you disable a code it is on wait for 30 days when it will be erased from the slot. so you should keep a slot free if possible, so you have no problems with switching.

the last time I used the GUI there was a bug that when you close the button blur gets auto-set back to 9, no matter how high or low it was.

no glass8.eu runs properly.

especially when you have a taskbar on the top edge and maximize an app or when you use a custom theme the top border of apps still look ugly.
-
well I dunno how how strain it gives but when combined with an opaque taskbar, I'd rather disable aero on battery, also what's nice is that all those opaque taskbar mods dont affect the taskbar when aero is active, and when aero disables itself for battery at least the round corners are still nicely rendered...

Windows Task Scheduler Not Running Tasks
My1 replied to KaddirB's topic in Aero Glass For Windows 8+
KaddirB (dont confuse it with a reset), I recommend a refresh. your personal files dont get hurt you just have to re-install your desktop programs and set them properly. Usually this helps.- 90 replies

well I have read of SSDs that gave up in less than 3 years so I am cautious...
-
hibernation doesn't cause any wear and tear to SSD. I been told by a computer shop that SSD can do everything that a HDD canThey can do the same but unlike an hddan ssd has limited life which is defined by how often the chips are written. And guess what happens at hibernation...

you are probably misunderstanding me. if a cache is not deleted and the content changes then sometimes you get the cache result, that's why you should sometimes clear the cache of this and that. and pretty much anything that is called cache you can probably delete without problems, since the system has to purge and re-create it here and then.- 90 replies

when you jave a restore point or a backup of the registry then you should be able to restore it. but at least the point you mentioned is called cache, so a temporary storage to make something faster, but can cause problems if the original content changed but the cache is still used....- 90 replies

Windows Task Scheduler Not Running Tasks
My1 replied to KaddirB's topic in Aero Glass For Windows 8+
as I said the quick boot is a windows feature that is a bit similar to hibernate but only saves the most basic thuigs as drivers etc. and that could get into problems with aero.- 90 replies

the task already was created (by the glass setup) and it should work but there is something (maybe quick startup) which prevents it from being loaded...- 90 replies
