  1. so for starters you need regedit and the ModernFrame.dll (chnage date feb11) also I assume you need to turn secureBoot off... 1. push the DLL into your C:\AeroGlass (or whereever you put it, but dont use spaes in the path (explanation later) 2. open regedit 3. then you need to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows 4. you need a DWORD called LoadAppInit_DLLs and set it to 1 5. another DWORD called RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs -> 0 6. a String Value called AppInit_DLLs where you put in the path of the DLL (Note: if you already have something in there [like a theme sig bypass], you seperate the paths either by a , or a space -> that's why we dont use space in the paths) 7. Kill Application Framehost.exe or reboot 8. open a metro app and wait for a cmd opening doing the rest for you...
  2. why are you doing your tax stuff for your uncle, does he work in the finance department in your state?
  3. the error says that some security permission that causes the problem can be modified in the admin tools, try to check that out
  4. @bm that's prpbably coz you might have short name support enabled which might automatically resolve this...
  5. what do you mean with "it" needs to be injected for the borderkiller to work -> the Whole Win10 aero or just the modernframes.dll or whatever it was?
  6. also BM hasnt published the stylish titlebars for metro apps yet (at least I havent found them)
  7. Well it's your fault for not using a proper browser. I designed a forum, and I must say that IE is horrible with supporting standards...

    …Build 9926

they seemingly added the reg Tewak that usually only internal MS ppl should use into the update, and that create the loop with the non-downloadable new builds...
  9. in case of this maybe if I find out how, I can include in the aero bat that it force kills dwm when it tries to go too high... but first I check the new w10 build...
  10. well with the taskbar on top the last thing I wanna do is switch to fullscreen, coz there's no way out anymore...
  11. Looks pretty nice, although looking at the details you need to tweak tge side borders a bit. But does this work with a 3rd party theme?
  12. we dont even edit the registry. Autohotkey can create very nice shortcuts, and unorthodox ones as well, like I use AltGr+right Control to invoke my non-existing Context menu key... but thanks for pointing that out, although I'll probably leave 9926, coz of reasons like designs and similar...
  13. wait. Control panel -> region and setting Germany (or whatever else) doesnt seem to disturb the region settings for the Apps, at least I have it properly. Why do you think this window and everything appears? right, it's a DEBUG version, also if you are clever enough just schedule a task that deletes your log everyday, is it so large, I had 300 and something kb last time I checked.
  14. it's easy to enable set the Language to en-us and the region to us in the settings app, log out login and have fun.
  15. you know what I think maybe I'll ditch Cortana and 9926 and return to 9841 or whatever was the 1st build, no problems with themes and especially apps' titlebars didnt look like an extremely overcooked sausage, if you know what I mean
  16. the easiest way in my oppinion is install aero 1.3.1 then kill aerohost.exe and dwm.exe (in this order) and wait until everything restores, then unpack the arcive and overwrite the install folder...
  17. I use FF as default browser, yet without problems, cortana always opens bing in a new FF tab (I'd rather have google, but whatever)
