    In in the energy options you have an option called fast startup which is like hibernation, but saves much less data of the state.

    As I said try disabling fast startup I have read tgat it causes problem.

    Well you could do a hibernation, which turns the pc off but saves the state it was in. But if you have am ssd it would be bad, because of the writing cycles... Maybe disableing fast shutdown could help your problem

    yeah looks right. now try a reboot. this link is a command that triggers the task as if you would start it yourself.

    honestly I dont think it's a problem of aero. maybe something did something to the scheduler... could you try my solution? no you go into your startup folder right-click -> new -> link and then...

    certainly weird. I looked at it and when you logged off and back on it worked. but I have an Idea. create a link to C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /run /tn "Aero Glass" and push that into your startup folder.

    You could also use an Atlas. Noel probably has one.

    essentially aero renders round corner but the border is given by the Win8 theme, which gives us the problems. try to get a win7 like theme. that would help

    well as I told. I just Cleaned the system with Wise registry cleaner and then restarted the Aero Task. which was there but seemingly not starting properly...

    I am having him right now at Teamviewer and it looks quite good. ran my good old Wise cleaner over the system and I could start the task. now all we need to see whether or not it properly autostarts on logon. Update: we have it working. now just waiting until he can get the key from his donation.

    you did remove the cracked aero. true, but I asked whether or not you have anything ELSE cracked in your system?

    maybe something is in your system that gives the problems. what does your log say? btw proof for Aero on W8.1Pro (it is heaviliy modded so many of the more or less known mods harm Aero in any way) BTW I told you already that I am running this on a PC with W8.1Pro a Laptop with W8.1 and the latop from above.

    Hmmm. Maybe do a registry clean with a cleaner but be careful, since doing things wrong can hurt... Btw a Refresh doesn't affect your files. Just your desktop software and system mods.
