anyone an Idea why "my" theme causes problems at boot (in fact I need to select standard theme and restart explorer, and then select "my" theme again) to boot my Win10 properly.

as blur seems to be misunderstood often let me explain b4 posting: blur is the effect that something isnt sharp anymore like the text of a window behind a taskbar with blur Transparency is when you can see through something no matter whether you have a slight color in between or not... now to the post: and I dont even need blur, I always code my Aero without blur and I'd love to get rid of it in Win7 as well...

I just thought a nice loop but that would be overkill so I thought, maybe there's a wait commant or alike, google and I found it. what I dont like is that I cannot make that start menu of W10 transparent. the only thing I now need is to get rid of the cmd and let it run in bg, usually ppl using scripts like these are clever enough on how to kill with task manager...

well no as soon as you start the default start menu of W10 your transparency/blur etc. will go down at least I see that...

Nope the transparency wont stick with cs, but you dont get misaligned icons in case you change tge start button also the transparency seems to go away on other occasions, but I dunno which yet...

well I dunno, but I dont really care, since the color looks normal with this software and not like a toilet after a massive diarrhea in case of me (color set to orange)

kill aerohost.exe and then dwm.exe, and you are safe until the next boot or login...

this was a fail on my side, I want the alt+tab on W8.1 transparent this post was more of a while we're at it thing, so I missed the fact we were in the W10 thread, lol *facepalm*

Have not tried a atlas file but with custom theme Yes.. ~DP I have a custom Theme, well it's not mine anyway, but it shows the buttons in their oversized manner, you know how I can mod it so it gets nicer?, also which way of sig bypass do you use, I have the problem that when I boot W10 that my desktop is almost crushed (no icons, start menu not working etc) until I enable stock theme and restart explorer, I use BM's dll bypass (and I disabled Secure Boot)

is there some way to resize those overly large window buttons?

You can use small utility called WinID or Microsoft Spy++ to discover any window's properties. Thanks I saw it appearing as TaskSwitcherWnd, and made my bat the following: SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class TaskSwitcherWnd accent 0 0 0 0 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class TaskSwitcherWnd blur true but it doesnt work, even as admin, the Alt+Tab is still completely opaque... But the basics are right, I even got my WIn10 Taskbar to shine in a nice orange instead of that brown... glass8.eu download section.

hi, we want to use WebDAV over IIS to give the users the ability to get on their documents etc over the internet, and I want to ask whether or not there is a way to limit the transfer per user, like 500MB per month Also we want to do this over AD authentication, but the solution I just read somewhere has the problem it need a kerberos ticket and wont work with foreign PCs over the internet, is there a way to solve that? also since I got the taskbar more or less properly with your exe, I must say that NOW windows 10 looks usable, usually the taskbar of my orange Win10 looks like a toilet after diarrhea...

well it IS a debug version...

it probably doesnt go away since it's a DEBUG version, just minimize it and be happy.

you know tha name/class/whatever for the alt-tab window in w8.1? I can do the rest myself.

wait a sec all single \ but the midde a double Also to. Me it looks more like a problem with my theme Patcher, which one do you use? Update, editing the theme was worthless, just tried BMs DLL plus disabling Secure Boot and so on, and now it works, making my Win10 quite a bit less ugly, but my taskbar still lookshas an ugly brown and the theme seems to have it's flaws, like having hopelessly oversized maximize/restore and minimize buttons...

well for starters we need the exact paraneters used, like the class or window handle...

can you give me the parameters after you get it? I have no Idea how to find out the class names and anything...
