thats prolly the modem or ur isp. i hate dsl for that reason... i was so happy when i got rid of it. but i guess it cant hurt to try getting a new router.

i have a physics question here... so you have a cup og hot coffee and u want cream in it, but your not going to be drinking the coffee for a little while. if i wanted the coffee to stay the hottest, should i put the cream in now or when i wanted to drink it? explain it... they give the equation ΔQ=KΔT my guess it to put the cream in when ur ready to drink it, b/c the ΔT will be much less, but im not sure how to explain/prove it.

well that top fan is prolly the most useless, but the front fan is a must.. for me at least.

well linux isnt all that to try out. yes it kills xp sp2 imo, but not xp sp2 that has been nlited. the stock windows, no matter which version, is just crap. i got vista to run much better with vlite, but that still doesnt get rid of the random bsods and crashes.

you took fans out and the temp didnt change, i really dont see how that is possible. its not even like u have enough fans to allow you to take a fan out. if i turn any of my 4 upper chamber fans off, then my temps defiently go up a few degrees. btw, ur case is vry neat compared to how most ppl do their p180's.

are u serious! ive notice that too, i thought my receiver was dead, well i guess its dying.. i have to turn it like 85% to the left channel for the channels to sound equal.

well i found a way to do this perfectly. add all of ur music to a winamp playlist and set it up for streaming. then install a module which lets you control what song u want to play thru an html file. now ppl can connect to ur winamp string and ur html file and select waht to play. works great for me, but the qulaity sucks b/c my upload speed sucks...

well ya there are plenty of improvements, but like u said, plent of dislikes. mainly the stability... it is just horrible compared to xp. i tried using vista for a couple of months, and i just ended up going back to xp. way to many problems. not to mention that none of the video drivers worked correctly for madden 07... and some other games.

you can use overburn in nero but that will gain you at max 100mb

lol, thats somewhat true. the ninja is a beast, my since i have alot of fans, i run them at low speed. abput 5-7v instead of 12v. my comp is the quietest that ive ever heard.

the last couple weeks ive been playing around with multiple distros of linux, they just really didnt impress me. xp just seems alot more user friendly to me... maybe thats b/c im so used to it. but vista definetly is not the way to go right now, not until a service pack at least.

afaik nero was the first software that suported dual layer. so either your media sucks or your dvd drive sucks. please tell us ur media and dvd drive.
