oh i forgot to tell you about thermal paste. arctic silver 5 has proven to be one of the best.

its simple to build a computer, just dont rush it. as for changing heatsinks, its extremely easy with today's motherboards. you don't even have to remove the motherboard from the case.

it all looks good, but what do you plan on using for cooling the cpu? just the stock heatsink? you should be alright since you do not plan on overclocking.

first of all, whats your budget? monitor/resolution? any heatsinks...? what store?

out of those 3, i would pick the commando. what cpu do you plan on using? do you want it to support ddr3? do you ever plan on using SLI or CrossFire?

you need to plug in 2x4-pin connectors! on the pic its called the "8-pin cpu power connector" on the top left of the pic.

no problem. when my creative zune arrives, i can sync to it without a program. i can just drag the files over like you would on a flash drive.

the psu is also the one that came with the case... some that come with cases are decent but alot of the are horrible when it comes to higher end parts.

I call it a laptop even though I never put it on my lap. Most people I know call them laptops. The computer companies often call them notebooks. I think they should be called portable computers, but who wants to say all that instead of just laptop? i call them laptops too. i'de have to agree the portable computer is the "technical" name also..
