well your hard drive is probably corrupted.. it's asking for the disks that came with the computer, they are called "recovery disks". it will want you to reinstall the operating system.. that means that you will lose all of your data, which is probably corrupted anyways. i would try plugging the hard drive into another computer and trying out some recovery programs.

ya i cant find where they said it wont be true quad, but i definatly read it in some news article.

Its actually a double dual core CPU. The two halves interface over the FSB. Its not a real quad core. Its a little faster than a dual core though. Not as much as you would expect from a real quad. well you dont know how the performance would differ from true quad... amd wont be making true quads, apparently they are too hard to make, so they will be doing the same thing that intel is. amd also claims that the performance difference between true quad and dual dual is very small.

this is my setup: modem->wired router->wireless router i am on the wired router and i have 2 comps on the wireless router. how can i network myself with the comps on the wireless router? also, i do not want to attach my comp to the wireless router, i just hate that router..

in vista does it do that? ive resized once using vista's disk manager and it went fine. but i still prefer using acronis.

many people have said over at forums such as silentpcreview that those side fans do cause the temps to actually go up. go and research if you want to. go for the 120mm in front. if temps are too high then we can try to do something about it. wait for intels price drops next month.

as for the screens, ya ive noticed that. if you go online to order then most of the time you can choose if you want it or not. you cant get a refund on vista, i know, that really sucks! the warranty is a standard one, you need to pay more for accessories.
