Guys, please help me resolve my problem in msoutlook 2000. i cannot open my mailbox (*.pst), there's an error messages pops-up when trying to import... pop-up#1 - Personal Folders: Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use. pop-up#2 - Microsoft Outlook: Errors have been detected in the file [path:\\*.pst] . Quit all mail- enabled applications, and then use the inbox repair tool. i already run the said inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) but unfortunately, it was unable to finish the task. is there any way to re-open again my mailbox? your help is very much appreciated! thanks! sir can u help me on my prblem regarding media player 9 on my w2k? why is it when i start playing a movie, the program instantly freezes as well as my pc that i needed to restart. how can i resolve this? tnx! best regards, raven

I already created a new profile. Actually that's the new profle when i encountered such message.

There is a pop-up message saying ... "Windows cannot load user profile but has logged on the default profile for the system. Details: the system cannot find specified file.", after i logged in the newly created user account. After which, i cannot save any docs using my office apps. Anyone, plz help.

tnx so much for the replies guys... but sad to say im still having problem on same issue ... the apps are stored on the hard drive itself not on the network. like i said, maybe the reason is on the account profile?

not actually. because i can see the files saved on the hard disk. one thing im not sure is that maybe the login account has a problem?

i have this laptop, XP Home OS, Office2K installed. if connected to our LAN, the office application especially my data file is running good. i can open all the files (.doc, .xls, .ppt), but when i disconnect my lan cable, office documents are not opening. how is that? can anybody help me?

why is it that my media player suddenly stop when i play a video on a cd or even from a hard drive that makes my pc stop responding "hang" and leads me to restarting? any help or advise are very much appreciated. thanks.

i am just wondering, how is that my laptop when connected thru a LAN, i can open my word document attchments? But when i disconnected the LAN, word docs dont open and the word apps just suddenly exits. How to resolve this issue?

have this new pc on our company, its's shuttle pc,3gig processor, winxp-sp2, IE6 browsers open for about 10-15 minutes and then suddenly exits when i hit the back/forward button. how is that? how can i resolve this one?
