depends on the manufacturer. the top end manufacturers have bios. if u want to find any dual opteron then hurry and get it now, rumor is that they are not going to be available much longer. if u can find one then get one.

it only takes a few hours to build one! 5 at the max, even if its your first.

bad choice going with tiger direct. start off testing each component one by one on another computer.

jeremy-i did say that it makeds a difference for encoding stuff.

its does make a difference while encoding or something large like that. the silicon is also of much better quality which means it overclocks better.

how do you know it is disabled from the bios? check in network connections if its enabled

i think your confused LiquidSage. burning-in is running your cpu on low voltage in hope to stabalize it at that lower voltage. this allows you more room to pump up your voltage later on.

thanks guys, im only gunna OC it to 250x10 at the max, i dont want to kill the cpu. all of my voltages are rly low, everything runs cool, and 3-3-3-8 is pretty nice.

i am trying to enable hibernation in the power options but the check box is greyd off and i cannot click it...

the comp i just built has randomly reboots every few hrs or so, the event viewer gives me this: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x10000050 (0xf000e819, 0x00000000, 0xbf8b480a, 0x00000002). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini112605-08.dmp.

well i built it yesterday and i love it. for the last like 4-5 hrs today ive been overclocking and ive decided to stay at 250x10, 4x mult, 3-3-3-6 if i go with a 3x mult then i will be forced to 3-3-3-8 anywhere under 255. i can get 3-3-3-8 at 260 but only by pumping up my voltages alot. right now all my voltages are vry low which is nice and good speed too, 5-10mhz wont make as much of a difference as the timings will, IMO.

i feel the same way suryad. i loved playing NFS high stakes on PS1. it was actually about racing in that game. now i bought nfsu2 and its all about the looks.

i just got the evga 7800gt and im loving it aoe3 on all high settings and now i can play doom3 on all high settings with 16x AA
