hibernation allocates disk space when u enable it in power options, otherwise u cant enable it if you dont have enough disk space. so i dont see disk space being the problem.

if thats the only device with an error, then thats most likely it. and it says no driver installed, so... so now all u need to do is find the driver for it. what mobo do u have?
umm... i dont get it you said that backing up to another hdd is bad. but you said to use raid?... raid1 IS backing up to another hdd, which completely negates your first statement.
lol, ur right zxian, overclocking is not safe, but some overclocking is more unsafe than the other. pumping my volatge up to 1.6v and my cpu to 300x10 isnt too safe...
is there a tool to change options for the hdd? for my hdd i can boot off of a floppy and change a bunch of options. afaik this is the only way to change ncq to on/off.
well if ur sure this is only happening when ur cpu gets hot, then cool it better. invest 40$ into a good heatsink. it is summer you know.. do u have airconditioning on? right now my comp is acting sluggish b/c the airconditioning is off and everything is burning up.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....rice=&maxPrice= just as they all said, its under 50$ for an 80gig hdd. or if you really wanted to, copy the files across a home network to another computer...
