  1. yes, they are the same
  2. http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?modelme...=3&l2=11&l3=248 it supports 8gigs as newegg says another reason why i HATE tigerdirect. not to mention their horrible customer support. and also for that video card u were looking for, i think that they said the core clock for a 7600gt was 750mhz! the fastest core clock ive seen is 675mhz and thats on a 7900gtx.
  3. well i prefer evga, you make the choice. both have a lifetime warranty btw.
  4. well this is one of the first thing you are suppose to do when gaming, shut down all background programs.
  5. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130017 isnt this the same price? newegg is also more reliable. computerMan-get evga
  6. http://www.ss64.com/ntsyntax/services.html i have disabled alot of services as the majority of them are useless. just take a look at this site for descriptions of the different services, im running ~16 services right now in taskmanager.
  7. if ur going nvidia, then get the evga 7600gt, like scuba steve said. why not buy from newegg? i would hurry up and get that 2nd one as it has a special weekend sale http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....rice=&maxPrice=
  8. http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html sounds like dvi-i includes dvi-d and dvi-a
  9. if u was overclocking crazy i would have an fx62 and phase change
  10. http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php
  11. well that s great choice. now what ram and cpu do u plan on getting?
  12. i agree with zxian, asus. but how much do u want to pay for one? most of newegg's seem to be out. but i would also like to suggest AM2 some are overclocking 1000mhz on air and its pretty cheap
  13. well ur idea is great, but with having a 120mm in front and 92mm fan behind my hdd works great too
  14. the cooler for the vid card? my arctic cooler nv5 dropped my idle temps about that much and my load temps by close to 15C. stock heatsinks just suck.
  15. you should,its compatible too
  16. thats true but people get worried, my cpu barely goes above 40C and thats with it overclocked 600mhz
  17. good idea, gotta love that evga support. but i wonder what will happen with my 7800gt in 10 yrs...
  18. well thats too bad, how much did ur temps drop? btw, thx for adding pics, vry sweet shot there with the light turned off
  19. well ive been studying for this test for a while and i aced it
  20. just windows being stupid again, in nlite choose the ACPI multiprocessor
  21. well who do u want to hide it from and what partition is windows installed on
  22. if you have a deal on it then go and get it, you'll be very happy, it also supports AM2.
  23. its the heatsink, not the fan. so if you really want to drop temps, then you will either have to put on your air conditioning, or get a good heatsink.
  24. well i can barely hear the fan, its running at low speed, but it does cool my hdd about 8C more than without a fan.
  25. thats actually a pretty cool case and i like it, go ahead an get it. @Andromeda43-what temp in celsius is that? why hdd stays at 28C all the time with a fan on it
