when u dload direcx, it is compressed, therefore it needs somewhere to extract the files. so just extract those files anywhere u want, then it will continue with the install. when a game asks you about directx, just cancel, it really doesnt matter tho.

i need to remove a hotfix b/c of incompatibility its having with a program. they only problem here is that i used ryanvm's update pack so the updates dont appear in add/remove programs.
