well you can use php do grap info out of the database and to put info back into it. i have very little practice with mysql and i'de like to find some good tutorial too. the first thing you need to do is to make php and your mysql database talk to eachother, just google for php mysql and you should be able to find a good tutorial on it. for windows how do you have all this set up for testing? are you using apache?

well i would'nt even think about amd right now. intel's core 2 duo is faster than the fx62 and WAY cheaper. http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/08/02/thg...age6.html#games checkout this great link that Camarade_Tux posted for us, the E6600 and above have 4mb cache, that an insane amount of cache. but this decision is up to you. by the end of the year amd should have 65nm for the AM2 socket. if you go AM2 then that would be a good choice too, its pretty cheap and amd dual cores are very cheap now too. but intel is the powerhouse right now. do you need help on picking out parts for your whole computer then? if so then what your budget?

well if its dial-up then all you need to do now is to select ur area code access numbers, when he gets the comp then just have him change the area code. you can instruct him on this thru the phone. or you can change the area code at ur house.

right now im not really sure if i will get vista for a long time. i'll prolly test it out when it first comes out but i doubt that i will use it as my main OS. when dx10 games become a standard in prolly 2 years, thats when i will upgrade to vista.

well MBM5(motherboard monitor 5) is the core program that i use, it has its own shell but i disabled that and am using a litestep module to pull variables from MBM5. so its a MBM5/Litestep combo.

Same here. Don't know why they called it "Cleartype", I get headaches from trying to read the text if it's enabled. oh f*** those headaches when i tried to adjust my eyes to it for 10min. do not try this at home!
