im not assuming, ive tried out the 360 and i just hated it. it may also be b/c the 360 needs an hdtv to look any good, therefore it really costs 1000$+

it wont screw up the registry but the program wont run the right way or not at all. do u fix this go into the registry and try to find all instances of this path in program files and change it to whatever you want. this happens to me all the time, it gets annoying. its just lazy programers.

wow those results actually suck alot. i was expecting the core 2 duo to be a huge increase in performance but instead its maybe 10% faster in 3d stuff... gaming is exactly the same, same with power consumption. so i dont see the point if getting core 2 duo if you can find a core duo processor for cheaper.

well on both my old computer and my friends current computer, gaming is really not an option b/c the temps just go way to high. when a video card goes above 80C... some games are very demanding too. and the point that it only happens with this 1 game is strange.

well ide say possibly in a year. lets see how amd and ati do their chipsets. if nvidia is no longer needed by amd b/c ati can finally make a superior chipset, then maybe there will be an intel/nvidia pact.

im so happy that intel has finally figured it out. but now computer illiterate ppl will be very scewed up. i have a 2.8ghz p4 and but this new computer says it comes with a 2.4ghz processor. why would i want that!? the point is that intel is using lower ghz and 99.9% of the ppl i know have no clue that ghz means nothing, its how much gets done per cycle. btw, dell already has the core 2 duo in some desktops http://www.dell.com/content/topics/topic.a...;l=en&s=gen
