i beleive that there is an option to set winamp in whatever state it was when you closed it, maybe turn that off...

ah sry, i was looking thru what u said before and i guess i just missed that. well then for nvidia i would be looking at the 7300gt but also the 7600gs/gt if u can pay a little more.

rc1 was perfectly fine for gaming, i would barely ever get a crash. and the MS driver is from 8/21 .....

just to let you guys know, the newer versions of daemon tools now works vista vista rc2. i know that with rc1 i had to install a much older version of daemon tools or else it wouldnt install.

they are essentially the same performance wise. pci-e has a higher bandwith tho which means it has the potential for higher performance. since ur getting a pci-e mobo, you will need a pci-e vid card. i would recommend a 7600gt or a 7900gs/7900gt

for some reason my text is choppy in rc2... any clue whats going on? the nvidia and MS video driver both do it. edit-hmm, odd. i turned cleartype on and it fixed it but cleartype is just too un-clear to me and hurts my eyes, so i turn it back to standard and the problem is fixed...

im running rc2 right now with the nvidia rc1 driver, now should i continue to use the nvidia driver or should i use the MS driver that came with RC2? i just had a crash during a game, thats why im asking.

you lucky pos. i plan on getting the x-meridian eventually, but first i wna get the logitech z5500 or a nice new receiver+5.1 so that i can use the digital out for them. but right now im using crappy nf4 onboard

i used firefox too and got 500kbs+ .... opera was doing it half that speed. thats the only upside of firefox for me.

i got really nice speeds off of that MS link, 500kbs+ too bad i have no time to install it tonight or tomorrow

well to do that im guessing u would need some sort of a cookie, im guessing... and i have no clue about that.

get the pc2-6400 only if u want to overclock, otherwise get the pc2-5400 as for mobo, i prefer the gigabyte ds3, but if u dont need all of the extra features then get the s3

i second a core 2 duo setup. for vid card a 7900gs would be vry nice but the 7600 is a good choice if ur on a budget. as for core 2 duo, get an e6300 and a cheaper asus 965p board

video card is fine, but maybe look into the top of the line ati cards too. for ram mushkin, gskill, geil, corsair, all is good.

wow this is great news, hopefully its much better than rc1 although rc1 was very stable for me.

well i would assume JS where you would type in something, and when you clicked off of it or clicked a button a function would run in which the data is extracted from the text box, run through a filter, and spit back out with the font of your choice.

i wish i would have seen this thread before, i would have tried to do it myself...
