  1. Yes, that is normal. I get same thing. I was surprised by the effect like you, but I do like it.
  2. I started with BigMuscle's original .layout file, for which that's expected behavior, so yes, it's expected - but perhaps not wanted. What entries do you tweak to remove the border from the Windows Start Menu and Notifications pull-out, dhjohns? Since the border there is not blurred I might prefer to remove it or at least make it smaller -Noel Here is layout file. I do not know which ones are specific, but here you go. My goal was to get rid of all borders everywhere! LOL This is for cl_sharp V2, but the concept is the same for all layout files.
  3. is this normal with your theme? i mean, the frame in start menú, i like it, but, is normal? No, it is not normal, and can be removed if you wish. I actually remove all of those borders!
  4. Works great on 10586. However, on Modern App titlebars, it's a bit smaller than usual. here is what I mean. The text and buttons aren't taking advantage of all the space. (If it's too small, here is a link http://i65.tinypic.com/23qrde.png Here is same page on mine. Perhaps it is your themeatlas causing issues.
  5. Works fine on Win10 TH2. My watermark is back!
  6. But why even install it, when you can have the blur like I posted above? Here is a partial screen shot with blur in start menu, task bar, title bars, and no classic shell!
  7. If you mean classic shell it is not free You gotta be kidding. Look again. It's completely free. http://www.classicshell.net/ It is really not free, it forces you to give up the Windows 10 Start menu. I would never use it.
  8. That is normal, but you can change it with various theme atlases. Mine, for example is not colored at all until I hover over it. When I do the X glows red, the rectangle glows blue, and the - glows green! Thanks That is normal, but you can change it with various theme atlases. Mine, for example is not colored at all until I hover over it. When I do the X glows red, the rectangle glows blue, and the - glows green! Thanks, this theme works for me, i get it from another post, where i can find more themes compatibles with th2?, non other themes in that post work for me. Could you please share where is this theme? What post? http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170233-aero-glass-themeatlas/?p=1110809
  9. PM bigmuscle about it. Give him your email address.
  10. Go to bigmuscle's download page. Click on "Command line tool to change window's composition attributes." It will download a file called SetWindowCompositionAttribute.7z. Extract. Put the executable in \Windows\System32. Then save below code in notepad as Taskbarblur.cmd. Make sure "hide extensions for known file types" is NOT checked. @echo off:1SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd accent 0 0 0 0SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd blur trueSetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_SecondaryTrayWnd accent 0 0 0 0SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_SecondaryTrayWnd blur truetimeout /T 2 /nobreakclsgoto 1If you do NOT have two monitors the lines with SecondaryTrayWnd can be removed. Place this on you C-Drive. Then save below code as Taskbarblur.vbs. This will ensure that NO command window is present when program is running. Dim WinScriptHostSet WinScriptHost = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")WinScriptHost.Run Chr(34) & "C:\TaskBarblur.cmd" & Chr(34), 0Set WinScriptHost = NothingThis should be saved in your startup folder. You can save it on your desktop first then in the Run dialog (Windows Key + R) type in shell:startup and press OK. This will open your startup folder, and you can move the vbs file there. Now just log off, and back on, and low-and-behold you have TaskBarBlur!
  11. Go into Schedule Tasks, and delete the aeroglass task. Then restart. Next delete aeroglass folder. That is complete uninstall.
  12. I haven't found any that work as well, except for the default ones.
  13. If you want to download in Edge here is the workaround. Right-click link, and choose save as. Click in the box where the file name is, and backspace. The file name with the 7z extension will appear. Click on that, and download. Show the file in folder when complete, and get rid of anything after the 7z. In my case it was htm.

  15. It just stopped appearing! Still no watermark on build 491, neither on desktop nor on full screen video! Life is good!
  16. Yes the watermark appears on fullscreen apps and the same with build 460. I'm not sure why he made it to do that for Well, I do not have that watermark on build 460, running Windows 10 10586 th2.
  17. All symbols download automatically now with license, and modern frames, and everything else works in build 10586 with bm's latest experimental build.
  18. I agree. Some people do jump in at the last post, and act as if it is the first without bothering to start with #1, and read all the pages. When I joined I realized that there was a lot of information available in previous posts, so I took the time to read all of them one by one. Many times I have PMed a person, and let them know it is best to start with #1, or I have directed them to the post which answers there questions, and explained how reading the complete thread is very beneficial. I also know that whether you say a build is for 10240 or not for build 10586, I am going to try it anyway, because it may work, and if it doesn't I absolutely know how to revert back.
  19. Yes, that is exactly what I think. There is one more thing I am aware of bigmuscle, and that is when someone develops software, he should be prepared for complaints, and be patient with the complainers.
