With IE5 up to sp2, v3.windowsupdaterestored.com works "fine" in 98SE and 98FE. If you install IE55 or later, "cannot display page" problem occurs. 95B and NT4sp6 seems to work fine with IE55sp2.

Seems to be working nicely in Firefox, thanks. schwups if you are using Opera 12.02, try to play any youtube video (it's not working), then select one of the videos on the right side of the screen and see what happens.

sdfox7, speu.exe (1998) you linked is older version than speu20.exe (1999) op is looking for. But i'm pretty sure there is no specific 98se version... Is this file even needed? I have 98se (oem) with only ie55sp2 and mp9 installed and update has older files in it.

I have no idea if this is same file but did you check in 98FE section (The Magic Floppy website)?

I replaced Kernelex.dll with v17 and it is working now!

Opera 12.02 plays YouTube videos fine here (full screen don't work). WinME with Kernelex 4.5.2 Windows 2000 sp4 mode.
