1. You need to redownload and UNCHECK the "Use our download manager..blah blah" then click on the GREY Download tab, the exe is part of the download manager from data host that you dont need.. In your file, a virus or a program that monitors the computer. This oche bad.
2. for ms explorer you will need to modify explorerframe.dll and shell32.dll ie details bottom pane
3. Here are the msstyles files as requested for your Theme, one is Square and one is Rounded with larger Nav matching buttons and glow buttons ported from Win 7 Enjoy! DBMy link
4. I got the bigger Nav buttons after reshacking a Win7 aero.msstyles and porting over to my Win8.. If anyone would like it just let me know and I can post the updated msstyles file..
5. I just used color 6 and adjusted the Color intensity slider..I belive my buttons are smaller tho
6. Go check out the new feature in AGTweaker v1.3.1 that allows you to use his stock png files or you can add your own custom png and make changes to reg on the fly, Or you can manually (more of a pain) update the theme msstyles png file as well.
7. I am sure ORelio would like to keep his tread primarly about his Tweaker so if anyone has any more questions or input just post them over at my Theme thread at: http://www.msfn.org/...22#entry1038022 and I will be happy to help..
8. I only offered the Hawaiian Scapes in the "rounded corner" version and not "square", I have found that the rounded look is much more softer and pleasing to the eyes that the hard square corner look, so I probably won't offer a square corner theme unless I get a lot of requests for it. My main goal when creating this Hawaiian theme was three fold. 1. I orginally created this for my own personal use for my unattended Windows 8 install to get away from the default boring Windows 8 theme look, but porting over some of the features that we all liked from Windows 7 like the glow, aero and round windows frames look, plus a easy preactiaved theme installer without the need of installing everything manually. 2. I did not want a theme that would hack any Windows system files that would only be defaulted back to orginal files from future Windows updates or a possible service pack. 3. And finally I wanted a relaxing theme to make you feel like you were on vacation with the sites and sounds of a a tropical location. that theme is something special imo - i have a lot to learn - all i have been trying to do is there - i am puzzled by the rounded corners - i cannot turn them off - am i missing something - i like both square and rounded - just wanted to compare
9. Excellent job Tusticles!, I also like the more balanced look with the same size back and forward buttons, did you do this as a theme via the msstyles?
10. Glad you like it, I will be updating soon with aero cursor scheme with black arrow pointer and will post update when done..
11. Ok, v1.3.1 Update playing better now with my below Hawaiian Scapes Aero Theme.. You can check out the theme d/l from my post at: http://www.msfn.org/...22#entry1038022

13. I don't use Bing a lot either but do like the paper to use in my themes, you could use a photo editor to resize the image Thanks! Any idea how to get them in larger image sizes? (Probably not but figured I had to ask. I don't use Bing so I thought there might be some magic button or something.) Cheers and Regards
14. Thanks, the uncheck trick did it ..I have my Own custom png in msstyles for my rounded theme, so probably just redundtant
15. Got it Thanks for the quick reply.. http://www.softpedia...er-Pack-7.shtml P.S. If anyone is interested here is a site that posts the Bing papers by month http://www.istartedsomething.com/bingimages/
16. Any idea why I am getting this exception error now? No error with v07 only with v08
17. I like that Wooded Paper where can I get a copy of that?
18. This looks good. The customer preview had also a bit different captions buttons: I'm also thinking of having some default theme for AeroGlass utility. Something like "default value for CustomThemeResource" so when user runs it for the first time, it will change Windows 8 theme to my default. But I guess we can't use any theme from any Win Beta/RC/RTM due to licensing reasons.

20. Yep, Windows Update will pop-up when doing that many updates and bog you down.. Question have you done a boot time test before updates then boot time test after all your update installs??
21. Why don't you just consolidate all your updates instead of listing each one... @echo off&color e && cls && Mode 60,4&title, [ MULTI UPDATE INSTALLER ] echo. Installing Windows Updates..Please Wait! :: UPDATES :: Scan and Echo files from the msu folder during install.. for /f "delims=" %%a in ('dir/b *.msu') do ( echo == Installing Updates == "%%a" echo. :: DELAY ping -n 4 localhost 1>nul echo. :: INSTALL start /wait wusa %%a /quiet /norestart ) cls echo ** DONE ** && ping -n 3 127.0.0.1>nul && exit
22. As they say "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder"
23. Nice, Clean and Simple but if you change to HKLM you can improve the access to dual functionality (desktop and directory) from inside any directory context menu like so.. @echo off echo Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 > .DWMINS.reg echo [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\Background\shell\DWM Menu] >> .DWMINS.reg echo "MUIVerb"="DWM Glass" >> .DWMINS.reg echo "SubCommands"="ON;OFF" >> .DWMINS.reg echo "Icon"="shell32.dll,240" >> .DWMINS.reg echo "Position"="bottom" >> .DWMINS.reg echo [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CommandStore\shell\ON] >> .DWMINS.reg echo @="Enable" >> .DWMINS.reg echo [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CommandStore\shell\ON\command] >> .DWMINS.reg echo @="C:\\AGTweaker\\AGTweaker.exe -enable" >> .DWMINS.reg echo [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CommandStore\shell\OFF] >> .DWMINS.reg echo @="Disable" >> .DWMINS.reg echo [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CommandStore\shell\OFF\command] >> .DWMINS.reg echo @="C:\\AGTweaker\\AGTweaker.exe -disable" >> .DWMINS.reg call regedit /s .DWMINS.reg del .DWMINS.reg DWM Glass Context menu if anyone is interested... Extract DWMGlass folder in C:\, install it using the batch files x64 or x86, depends on your system. Launch the installation batch files as an administrator else it won't work. (same when uninstalling) If you don't want the DWMGlass folder in C:\, open the installation batch files and "x64\GlassON.bat" or "x86\GlassON.bat" in notepad and add your own path. Download
24. Why don't you just add an exception for it in your virus app to turn that off..
