You are using an old version of AGTweaker with an old version of Aero Glass for Win8. Try the final version instead: http://glass8.berlios.de/

This is an Aero Glass for Win8 related issue, not the GUI. Be sure you are using the latest version of Aero Glass for Win8: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/161788-aero-glass-for-win8-rc4/

Thanks for the explanation. Sorry if I did not carefully read all the questions posed by other users, I only remember reading that 8.1 is using DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 10 although I read most posts here since February :/

What's the difference between Win8.1 and Win8 implementations? ie why not using an exe file for win8 too / not a dll for win8.1?

Try disabling Secure Boot in your BIOS.
